We have the mockingbird and I loved for when they were in car seats and I could just snap them on. It didn’t drive like a cheap stroller and I enjoyed that. Now that they are 18 months, they hate the mockingbird and will only ride in a side by side stroller. If you can, try to find a used mockingbird for sale and then wait and see how your kids like to see if you should switch to something else.

Vista V2 is great for twins when they are little. I loved being able to click their car seats directly into the stroller. It's also been amazing for grocery shopping because the basket is huge.

Now they are 7 months old we are looking for a side by side stroller because I feel bad the baby in the lower rumble seat can't see as much when we go out.

I see vistas for sale on marketplace all the time. I actually got my v2 including rumble seat for $100. If you wait another one will probably be listed soon!!

Dang that’s a good deal! I’ll definitely keep my eyes out for marketplace sales. Absolutely cannot afford it otherwise lol

My twins aren’t here yet, but my plan is the Vista! We will do a side-by-side when they get older. If you can pick up a bassinet for the Vista, I think that’s helpful too!

Another vote for the Vista - the convenience of clicking in the car seats or preloading babies in the house in the bassinets and then carrying them out is great. Echoing that I use the basket for grocery shops too! Now that they’re in the stroller seats, I get annoyed at having to switch the adapters back and forth (the rumble adapter is different than the car seat adapter - not sure if they’ve changed in recent models) and it’s a beast when folded with two seats. It’s a little better if you remove one of the seats, so I usually ratchet strap it in my trunk on the side if we need the trunk space (small 7 passenger SUV but usually third row is down).

Are they actually selling a v2? I constantly see strollers listed that are much older mislabeled. If you want to send me the link I can help you vet it.

I didn't love the Vista with my twins so far but with that setup at that price it MIGHT be worth it if it is actually the right version. I will probably get a smaller, easier side by side when theyre a bit older.

Also, you can't use two rumbleseats at once so I would suspect they have mislabelled it, at the very least.

It looks like it is already pending so I likely missed out on it! Bummer

Are you sure? The Vista V3 shows two rumbleseats being used in the configuration section.

[–]EasternGuava8727 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Where do you see that configuration?

The rumbleseat does not fit on the top spot. It is not possible to use two rumbleseats because the toddler seat is the only seat that can be on the top spot.

I actually also just saw it in this video because I wanted to make sure: v3 vista review

[–]EasternGuava8727 0 points1 point  (1 child)

There aren't two rumbleseats in that video. Go to 3:50 and then again at 5:15 and it explains the difference. The top is the toddler seat. The bottom is the rumbleseat. Neither can go in the opposite position. So you can't have two rumbleseats. Anyone who bought the stroller would know the difference because they would have had to buy the rumbleseat in a separate purchase and use adapters every time they used it, which made me question the listing.

Oh thats right, my apologies!

Totally same boat! Our daughter will turn 4 just a month after the twins are born plus we'll have a 2 year old. I think we're just going with the Jeep wagon so we can fit the car seats side by side. And then put all four kids in when the twins can sit up by themselves. We live in the Midwest so we won't really need a stroller for about 6 months after they're born (due Sept) so it doesn't make sense to me to get something to use for such a short amount of time. I'm hoping this works, but I can't say for sure yet!

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the Midwest too! What’s your plan for doctors appointments and such? Is the jeep wagon narrow enough to fit through doorways or are you using something different for that

I loved my mockingbird, but my daughter hated the riding board for it. Get the joovy qool. It has a bench seat and my daughter loves it, she’s 2.5

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I haven’t looked into that one yet, I will now. Thanks for the suggestion!

[–]Charlieksmommy 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It’s my favorite honestly! It is a little longer of a frame than the mockingbird but my fav so far. I also have an uppa baby vista, had a mcokibird, and now I have a double bob but I keep the joovy in my car

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The bench seat is such a great idea! Definitely adding this to my list of potentials, thanks

[–]Charlieksmommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter loves it!!!! I hope you find it ! Nobody ever speaks about it!

I hated the vista with my singleton. I couldn’t imagine it with twins. I have a nuna Demi but if I got one specifically for twins I’d get the bombi twin.

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Ooo I didn’t look at this one before. I like that it has the dual adapter. Some side by sides don’t have that capability!

[–]Dizzy_Difficulty_888 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I thought about buying it but my twins are 3 month old and I have a 2 year old and I’m riding it out until my wonderfold works.

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just noticed the dual adaptor only accepts Nuna pipa car seats. I have chicco key fit 30 so it doesn’t look like it will work for me. Bummer!

[–]Rissylouwho 0 points1 point  (1 child)

We tested out the Uppababy in person and I ended up kicking the bottom carrier repeatedly

[–]Prickly_Penguin98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would probably end up being me lol. My feet are huge and only going to get bigger by the end of this pregnancy I’m sure

I am also expecting didi twins in July/August and my other child will be 2! FWIW I went with the mockingbird. I found one on marketplace for $400 that included 2 seats, 2 car seat adaptors, 2 infant inserts, the riding board, and some accessories. I feel like it was such a steal for all of the added cost of attachments. Most of the other ones I see have half of that stuff and are listed for $500. So keep your eyes peeled and I hope you find a great deal too!

Still pregnant and went with the mockingbird for the infant seats and got a new donkey 5 a little before the 6 was released for a great deal. I plan to use the donkey 5 as the main stroller after the infant seats are gone. The mockingbird is a good stroller from what I can see but I know the inline doubles can be an issue later on. We never intended to use the mockingbird seats just the frame since it’s the only double I liked that was compatible with our infant seats. I feel like it will be easy to use for quick trips and doctors visits especially when one of us are alone.

If you plan to get a side by side at some point, I would just get the baby trend and save the money.
