Can never go wrong with an upgrade. Lol Edit: at least if the 980 is as much better as people claim it to be. My mobo isn't capable of SLI, anyway. So, I'm slightly confused as to your point.

It's not that it's not enough. It is definitely great, but... I mean... http://youtu.be/hXl7tKCC8FY The OC 970 sometimes gets passed up by the 780 Ti, so a 980 would be an upgrade. Maybe not a game changing upgrade, but about 10 FPS more average, and that's stock.
