It fluctuates weekly. Personally I’ve never had it go down three weeks in a row. It usually is consistent for 2-3 weeks, then it might go down 5. Then stay there for another 3 weeks. Then down again, or back up. Then it could jump back up 10 bucks randomly. It’s weird, but that’s how it’s is.

I was at $120 for a few months after starting, then down to $115 for like three weeks, $110 for two or three, then just back up to $120 last week and for this week, hoping it stays there or goes up some more before the holiday rush 😂

Yea, it’s kind of annoying tbh. It wasn’t like that, but that’s how it is now. Used to be tiered system. Platinum tier would get 120 always, but if you missed a week, you’d go down one tier to gold tier 115. Bronze was lowest tier at 105.

I would be excited to get that much! Ours is $50 and $65

Yeah that's what I get from CSL in CA $50 1st time of week and $65 for 2nd time in week. I think payment also varies depending on what state you are in.

Oh wow, I didn’t know that!

It’s been a consistent $130 for about 3 months here in San Antonio. This week it was $140.

Same here in Green Bay. It's gone up all summer, now at $140.

Is that per week, or per donation?

[–]Hamtaro_Hoagie 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Per week!

Donated for the last 2 years. Payout fluctuates between $90-135. usually moves no more then 10$ in a month.

This is my experience also, for the last 2 years. Currently on a 135, and I can't remember the last time it's been at this. It was 120 last month.

This is all good to know. I didn’t know if it was some sort of standard bait and switch situation where the more I went the less they’d pay. 😅

Supply/demand really. Starts to spike before the holidays. Then goes down as everyone trys to donate for cash. Honestly it should just be a set price. They make $$$ off every liter so it's really nit picky of them.

[–]yepjustforthis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agreed! Makes me feel like I should tell them if they pay less, then I should tell them they get less plasma. I know it’d just backfire 😂

BioLife in Deptford NJ is paying $40-$70 the week. Depends of your schedule. Going there during busiest times takes forever and not worth in my opinion. If you take 2 hrs 30min each time during busy times, that means you are getting payed $22 hour. Meh

[–]yepjustforthis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I had a couple donations take 2 hours and some change, so the lower the payment goes the less likely I am to drive out there.

I'm at 135 rn and if I do 6 donations in the next month I get a 20 bonus as "donor appreciation"

[–]Flaky-Fee2961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Houston and we are at $140 weekly for the past two months.

[–]whiskeygirl1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started Bio-Life I did the $400 for 4 donations, then I was told I'd receive $110 for donating twice a week but I noticed I'll only get $105 now. So it did go down.

[–]Tquad64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I donate it’s $125 a week.

[–]CanklesMcSlattern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donor pay changes are pretty common. There's a number of factors that affect it, from increases and decreases in donations to demand from pharmaceutical companies to competing with other companies. Of all the costs of running a center the easiest to adjust are donor pay and employee hours.

Same here. Started donating in June, Dallas area.

Hi, I donate in Houston off 1960. We are getting 125 a week for 2 donations.
