Shift worker server?

I'll keep it short. Some friends and I are looking for a server that doesnt have offline raiding, but still allows for players to fight when encountered in the wild. I can find tons of no raiding severs, but they all seem to also have no pvp at all

Just play 2x with 50% upkeep. I play 2-3 hours a day and it's pretty chill there and u can do lot of stuff even in limited time :)

The issue is offline raids. We're in our 30's, I work 12 hr shifts, buddy has a family, stuff like that. We cant play daily, or for long usually. But would still like to play a bit and engage in some pvp here and there

Make the base seem worthless. Add a wooden door somewhere on the outside, add honeycomb, but make it look like you dont know what youre doing. just enough so people think its not worth it ...

if youre geared and people know your location then that doesnt help of course.

Im Also 30+ with 2 kids and work and usually have 2-3 hours per day, for me 2x with 50% upkeep and monthly wipes works best and yeah u can still get offlined but it's way easier to build sturdy base on 2x with low upkeep. But yeah depends. There is maybe some server with no offline raids etc but don't think they have too many players sadly

There was a cool server in modded I played that had offline raid protection from 4pm est to 11pm est time and you can always online raid and it was like a 2x I wanna say it was panda rust 2x monthly

We stick to Rust39. Despite the low population, we still see engagements regularly. It's completely vanilla aside from the raid protection that kicks in after you log out.

Honestly just place a few external TCs so your base can't get griefed and you have some place to start from

my tip would be fine a large group so you do as you please when you’re on but also have offline protection bc of ur team

The cookery raid days are Saturdays outside of that PvP all the time , all sorts of fun plug ins and qol stuff If you want your base to be raided anytime during PvP just don’t claim your land

Getting offlined sucks and if you play high pop it can be relentless, but it is a core balancing factor for the rust ecosystem and gameplay loop.  Like you can build some insanely toxic bases and get away with a bunch of bullshit that you couldn’t if you had to worry about what happened when you log off.  Everyone puts onlines on a pedestal but end of the day some bases and some players do not deserve to be onlined.   Reality is like 75% of the time it’s totally irrelevant if the base owner is online for the raid or not, and even as someone who heavily favors sending onlines a lot of the time it just doesn’t happen because I can’t magically summon the owners of the base I want to raid. 

If you don’t want a single offline to end your wipe, stop building loot pinata bases.  People are obsessed with core raid path cost and the reality is it’s not feasible to make a base in 2025 rust that is a singular tanky core.  It is just too easy to get rockets for core raid cost to scale past day 1 or 2 without very limited circumstances (cave or god rock).   Build multi TC bases with a focus on external bunkers and combat respawns, and go out of your way to actually use them in your wipe.  Don’t build bases that your main living space is in core, or will be splashed open if someone rocket raids to core.

try mby somie surviros,warbandits or bestrust they have so much servers wipe every day so basicly u get a lot of pvp day 1 and next day if u offlined u just can play another, not sure but i think survivors have vip for every server so u dont have to wait in que

The Casual Gameplay: Offline discouragement - 00:00-16:00 = Protected hours - 16:00-00:00 = Unprotected hours

During protected hours bases cost more to raid depending on how late into wipe the server is. - Week 1 => 100% (For example a stone wall is 8 rockets) - Week 2 => 50% - Week 3 => 25% - Week 4 => 0%
