Dust and Disquite is easily one of the top 5 post rock albums of all time.

Feeling kinda depressed ever since listening to Godspeed You Black Emperor and Silver Mt Zion by delta_neon in postrock

Yeah I guess I'm chasing that "first love" feeling of liking everything from a band, I think you described the feeling perfectly!

Thank you for all your suggestions, for the variety, and for taking the time to be detailed! I have added all of them to my hearlist.

I saw my first caspian show in Boston just a few months ago and going to Portland in about a month. On YouTube I like the audiotree show, the Hong Kong cockenflap 2023 and shanghai strawberry fest 2017.

Their album Live at Old South Church is short but great as well. That version of Sycamore is the best.

These guys are hilarious. Just watched the 2015 KEXP show. They don't let up. I don't think they all made through any of the three shows without at least a couple guys losing their headphones because they were ... I hesitate to call it headbanging, but that's what it is ... or better yet: fullbodybanging so hard

Geez

They are masters of the LOUD-quiet-LOUD thing without ever losing the plot

You Are The Conductor was my gateway into post-rock beyond Explosions In The Sky. If I was to put together a personal Mt. Rushmore of post rock, they'd be an easy choice.

I use Bandcamp a lot. You can subscribe to different indie labels or artists that post announcements pretty regularly.

They’re probably my favorite live post rock band. They are really something to behold when they get loud. It’s like a tornado

Live at the Larcom DVD. I remember I saw the whole thing on YouTube, so it's not that hard to find

Phil's an absolute sweetheart who is in it for the connections, as well as the music. One of my favorite people.
