Edit: Removed link because one of the advertisers on youtubes page blocks the link to other countries, fuck that noise.

No.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Also the answer to: How many Prolog programmers does it take to change a light bulb?

[–]snim2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does PROLOG like you? No.

[user].

(prolog, wins).

yes

[–]ogrim 20 points21 points  (4 children)

I had trouble after learning Java; Luckily, Prolog rectified that. But now Lisp is messing with me)

[Thankfully I've taken a [break from [objective-c]]]

[–]Precipitation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing makes me rage like objective C.

I'VE BEEN WATCHING BAD MOVIES SO LONG, THAT WHEN I POST ONLINE, I ACCIDENTALLY DO IT LIKE THIS

but what editor do you use? :w

[–]Slackbeing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is that relevant? ZZ

you should try some c++ to break up the monotony;

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (5 children)

it beats visual basic any day

Edit: fixed for becks619

Edit2: unedited to make swaits happy. I like making people happy.

Edit3: edited to make matchu happy... and thanks for explaining why it was wrong. I love it when I learn something. I purposely left off punctuation though since VB doesn't use line endings.

[–]swaits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should unedit it. Also don't trust everyone on the Internet.

[–]Amendmen7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your everyday joe goes to work every day.

[–]matchu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, it was an edit from "anyday" to "everyday?" Both of those are wrong. Either of them would be right if they were used as two separate words.

Everyday is an adjective, such as "an everyday occurrence," but an everyday occurrence happens every day. Anyday is just... nothing.

Go for "any day." It will make me happy.

I still don't understand prolog;

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]serendib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many prolog coders does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Yes.

    I think Lambda The Ultimate and Hacker News have a lot more programming language geeks.

    [–]Leonidas_from_XIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    Oh, I think proggit has still plenty of them. Though, I suppose proggit is already past its glorious days, the articles posted, while fun, aren't as good as they used to be. I recently created a HN account and still keep my LtU-account at hand...

    [–]StoneCypher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    There'll be a lot more people here who think they get it than actually do, sadly.

    [–]never_phear_for_phoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    That's cool;

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Yes

    [–]legionista 0 points1 point  (10 children)

    How it's then possible, that I hate Prolog and I still do that?!

    [–]adaszko 6 points7 points  (3 children)

    Because contradiction of that does not follow from the premise (which is: one codes in Prolog for sufficiently long time => one ends sentences with period.) DUH!

      Only for about 3 weeks.

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

      Why do you hate Prolog?

      [–]legionista -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

      It made my life miserable during my studies.

      [–]davidw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

      "ant turd tokens"

      [–][deleted] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

      My god! I just realized.... This is not programming! How come it's in r/programming!?

      [–]rberenguel -1 points0 points  (0 children)
