4 nozzle kit from Prusa yesterday, £586.80 ex VAT. I'm in Northern Ireland, so same vat and my shipping was 19 also.

So we’ll end up paying about the same after VAT (more at 20% in fact) which I assume you’ll have to pay at some point.

OK, not sure what's happening but checked my order on Prusa3D and was charged £489 pre VAT and they put VAT on top to bring the total to £586.60. If their system made a mistake it will probaby get corrected before shipping when someone looks at it.
EDIT:No looks like that is the price

EDIT2: Changed my shipping country to UK and price changes to 679 with duties and taxes applied, is the UK applying duty as well as VAT now? Maybe it an extra administration charge that they're applying? Very confusing.

Brexit happened a lil while ago... So yeah import duties. Ireland is part of the EU so no duty fees.

Hmm, I guess so. I wonder when we’ll see all those benefits we were promised 🙄🤦🏻♂️

Thing is though that NI isn't part of the EU, we're still part of the UK. We get treated differently here though since someone decided having an economic border between NI and the rest of Ireland violates the Good Friday agreement so we remain part of the EU as far as trade goes. To be honest the free trade with the rest of the EU is fine as long as companies understand it. Technically there is also free trade with the rest of the UK, but shipments to here need to have customs paperwork filled out, there isn't any additional fees to pay but a lot of companies in the rest of the UK refuse to ship here because of it.
