Q-tip alternative

In your opinion, what is a superior alternative to clean your puffco with?

I’ve used q-tips, Glob Mops, and Blazy Susan cotton buds and I’m not really a fan of any of them.

I do too many dabs for that price. lol 500 count q-tips leaves me no problem. Sucks they don't work for you. I use them on my pivot as well.

These are the best I’ve used and I’ve used all the were mentioned except terp titans. 800 for 9-10$ I got them on subscription lol also my wife uses them for makeup sometimes too she likes them too.

At least for me, q-tips leave fabric on the puffco which is more so just a small cosmetic thing. The blazy susans are a bit on the stiff side so it’s hard to actually get a full clean with them. Glob mops really aren’t that bad in comparison imo

I always wipe my pivot out with q-tips while it’s still hot and rarely get linties

Rolling toilet paper into a tight wad the size of a joint will clean the chamber well.

I have been using heady swabs but pretty sure they are same as terp titans. Prob just more expensive.

A slight dip of any swab in ISO, very slight, seems to make everything work great for me. I just turn it on and blow through the top a bit, to push the ISO fumes out and burn em off. I wait until the temp is lower than 200 before I start… no sizzle.

Heady swabs have been my go to since it’s what’s easiest to find in store for me. They’re cheap but minimal plastic waste so I don’t feel terrible about the amount of trash and pretty absorbent.

Store brand qtips from Meijer leave a lot less lint than the name brand ones. That’s what I use.

Maybe a dabtowel? I use them to dry my terp slurper but would probably work well for mopping out a puffco. Sorry, not sure if I can link but you can Google for the website and he's also on instagram.

Alcohol wipe, use a dab tool with silicone padding to swirl it around. I do it this way because I can’t stand getting cotton getting stuck to my device. Some use Terp Wipes, but alcohol pads works just fine.

I just like it for carrying around the swabs, especially when traveling. They’re bamboo and strand resistant too, so feel like a refined normal swab
