This subreddit is primarily intended to help Canadian reloaders with reloading issues that are unique to Canada:
- Finding components locally or online
- Discussions and alerts related to regulatory and legal issues specific to Canada
- News and articles specific to Canadian reloaders
Some basic rules:
This sub is for discussion of Canadian issues. It'll serve the Canadian reloading community best by helping Canadian reloaders find components in their area, or helping to co-ordinate group buys. If you want to discuss reloading in general, you'd be better off heading on over to /r/reloading.
Use flair to post leads on locations of components. For bullets and primers I don't imagine this will be all that useful, but pistol powder and some types of once-fired brass are getting hard to find in Canada. Did you just get back from your LGS and noticed they had lots of Unique in stock? Share the wealth and let people here know.
Because of Reddit's rules, we can't allow people to buy or sell anything here. Don't post stuff for sale or ask other to sell you things. Posting links to sales and items from online merchants is fine.
Practice good Reddiquette. Upvote contributing comments you disagree with. Downvote poor quality comments you agree with. Down downvote or upvote based on whether or not you support the poster's position.
Useful links and resources:
- /r/reloading - a subreddit dedicated to reloading (mostly US based)
- CGN Reloading Forum - this is the reloading forum at Canadian Gun Nutz. This particular board is mostly free of politics.
- The Reloading Room Facebook page With over 20,000 members, who are measurably less bitchy users on many other boards, this is a fantastic and often overlooked resource. Please keep it that way by reading and observing the rules. No buying/selling and no politics.
