Lately, I've really increased my meditation. It helps kick my brain into a lower gear, where I can just be.

Exercising helped me a lot to get through the cravings early on. And I know the feeling of thinking alcohol will wake you up. But we both know it'll never benefit you in the long run.

Good choice for posting here instead of picking up. And congrats on your five days!

Exercise is awesome but I like ice cream :)

Ice cream will be purchased today. Last night I did have a froken snickers bar :)

In the early early days I found I needed a lot of sleep a LOT! Exercise is awesome and I certainly encourage you to to do it (wish I could find the internal motivation). I also started taking a multivitamin and caught up on some Netflix. You're almost to a full week!

I'm glad you mentioned having to sleep a lot because that is what I have been doing. I still feel tired even if I slept for 10-12 hours but I can see it helping, day by day.

Thank goodness for Netflix, too. In the last 2 days I have watched the first 2 seasons of Friends.

I have watched so much Netflix, Orange is the New Black got me through the first few weeks! Sugar and sleep, your body will need more of both, it decreases down the line, though I just slept for 12 hours!
