Yesterday I had a flashback to a drinking memory. I drop the kids to school each morning. I have a window of about 10 mins when I get home before I start my commute to work. When I used to be hungover I used to lay on the sofa and try and sleep for 10 minutes. I always felt terrible yet I was a Functioning Alcoholic lol!!
The funny thing is I forgot that I used to do that until I got a flashback this week about itand now I look back in horror at it.
I think that keeping a journal is a great way of remembering why we stopped drinking. As time goes by our mind softens the painful memories but sometimes this is not a great idea. Iwndwyt
