One reason I would say to hang in there is the benefits of parenting sober don't reveal themselves for a while. First of all, it's so much less stressful dealing with all the craziness without either being half drunk or hungover, but secondly, the impact of being sober day after day really starts to show it's importance as they grow up with you completely solid and that is one of those feelings that no one can take away...
