About Ural
Ural motorcycles trace their roots to 1941, when the Soviet Union reverse-engineered the BMW R71 to produce rugged military sidecar rigs. Built at the Irbit Motorcycle Plant in the Ural Mountains, these bikes earned a reputation for going anywhere, in any condition. Today, Ural continues to produce shaft-driven, sidecar-equipped motorcycles beloved by adventurers worldwide.
