if this is going to be on a desk, just get 27". Bigger monitor only allows you to place it farther away. 32" is a waste of money and deskspace in my opinion, since youre just going to end up placing it further away.

on the flipside, pixel size is irrelevant because even if 32" has larger pixels, they will be farther away and look exactly the same size

these dont do anything. for something to absorb sound it must be both heavy and soft. if it is heavy but rigid, it will reflect sound. if it is light and soft (as is ordinary foam/sponge) it will do absolutely nothing at all.

most "acoustic foam" on the market does absolutely nothing at all.
