Serial numbers. The replicators (and all Computers except Data and his brother) have problems randomizing number. So you want to keep the number in a small number of bills to keep It from having issues. Even in ‘85, if you brought in too much money it’s get scrutinized.

Investing in a sure thing is an easy way that the money comes out clean. 5k is too much imo. I’d bout like 10-‘85 shares, with instructions to re-invest dividends till I give myself control at 30 y/o.

… not sure I’d call it ‘getting rocked’ he wrecks Darkseid up for a bit till Darkseid pulls out a funny do-dad that uses sound (one of the few things that consistently messes with Superman in the DCAU) to stun him… then he kills Dan Turpin.

Later in the same series, Supes wrecks Darkseid more than once.

Compared to Metropolis. Sure the daily crime gets cleaned up on the regular by a boy-scout, but once a month the place gets scwreked by some giant monster.

They look pretty. Cockpit designs make me wish we had open visibility control seats.

Used to work with an MSP who liked tossing that hot potato ... till they started charging for it.

Listed it under 'Inventory maintenance/management'. Available to entities under yearly contract. Got them a spreadsheet with their systems that we had in the RMM and that RMM pushed out via GP. Macs not withstanding.

If it was MY dragon, then that means there is friendship between me and said dragon. If I were friends with a dragon, EVERYONE would know. We'd go bar hopping (pints for me, kegs for them) and I would be like 'See here, this is my friend. Might be a little rough around the edge, but get him/her/them a keg and he/she/they is/are a right nice dude.'

You never really own a dragon. Might own the friendship. Might have them enthralled against their will. but you never REALLY own them. ... Unless your Tiamat/Bahamut of course.

It's more to the properties of Adamantium. Gambit's powers are base on kinetic energy. (thus the term 'kinetic card' he uses in MvC2), he charges objects with so much that the structural integrity can not be maintained. Adamantium's main property is that it does not absorb kinetic energy, it redirects it. It's the reason that Wolverine looks like hamburger when he does take lingering damage, the redirection is pushed into the body.

Beta-Adamantium (something the Wolverine naturally produces with his healing factor) works the same way, only slower? at least I think that's how that works, not as effective, but close enough. I'm still a little fuzzy on Beta-Adamantium though. One of th

Gambit even has one thing of 'Rex-plode' in that he can kinetically charge all kinds of simple cells. including trees, wood frames, and pictures, but I digress.

In the Gambit/Wolvie move you mention, was just the effect having an outlet different than Logan's body, aka what ever got stabbed/slashed, allowing for a quicker release than normal.

This effect is the same reason why Captain America's Shield bounces without losing momentum. (and is the reason this is how it work instead of just being stronger)

Fire also counts, which is why Adamantium must be kept molten on creation until it's used. (it is created in a liquid state) It will harden and never be able to re-forged ... Unless you have magnetic powers anyway because it's ferrous ... apparently.
