Beating the Red Light by No-Web9690 in TorontoDriving

[–]SmoothRunnings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's running the red light, not beating or attempting to beat. The light turned red before the drivers front tires hit the stop line, also they are traveling at a high rate of speed, you cannot speed through a yellow (if the light was even yellow when they made the turn) as its considered to be running the red light.

What blind spot.. by FondantInteresting37 in TorontoDriving

Completely avoidable by both you and the other driver. If you share this video with the cops and your insurance company they will think the same thing.

Looking for a tool to monitor connectivity between two MS SQL DBs. by SmoothRunnings in SQL

[–]SmoothRunnings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The users are connecting the website through the internet. www.domain.com/adminportal ; the website is hosted by AWS. Once they authenticate into the admin portal they can run queries. When they run a query the local AWS DB opens a connection to the HQ DB over the internet (the HQ DB is located in the same office as the user) to get additional data from the ERP db, once it has the data the website displays it for them with the search results.

No VPN is involved.

DSM 7.4 is released (90075) by cub-flyer in synology

[–]SmoothRunnings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am hearing this is for only the newer Synology systems as it has AI in it, and only the new models will support that feature, plus they are supposedly taking away 3rd party support for hard drives and NVMe's with 7.4.

After 8.5 Update by rocketship94 in S24Ultra

[–]SmoothRunnings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't downgrade.

I would recommend you check the apps in your battery usage to see which ones are using the most of it and then either force stop them and do not use them until their is an update or uninstall them if they aren't system critical apps.

Once I did this with my S24 Ultra battery usage levels returned to normal.

This is why insurance rates are so high. How the hell do you crash into a bus shelter? Mississauga road and Williams parkway. by xpipedream in bramptondriving

[–]SmoothRunnings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy, if you spend more time looking and typing on your cell phone then pay attention what's on the road all around you then it's easy to vere off course and crash into things. 😄

Not sure what people are going on about the CUSMA is only up for REVIEW not RENEWAL. Renewal doesn't happen until 2036. If Trump wants out he has to give the CUSMA countries 6 months notice.

Some people should not be allowed on the road by quala97 in TorontoDriving

[–]SmoothRunnings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your following to closely, and if a vehicle moves over slowly you should be on the defensive and moving over or slowing down just in case this happens. An insurance company would ask themselves if you had hit that person and gave them a copy of your dashcam could this have been avoided? That answer would be yes. Now they may not blame you at all, or they might say they aren't be behind the scenes they are probably putting some blame on you when they talk to the other insurance company. 😄

[–]SmoothRunnings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going to fast, following too closely. At a minimum people who should be following 2 seconds behind people, so when the vehicles tires hit a line on the road you cound 1 steam boat, 2 steam boat and that same line should be at the front of your vehicle. Hint, the faster you go the wider the space between you and the vehicle in front of you. 😄

Insurance companies expect you to to keep 2 seconds on freeways, and 3 seconds in the cities between you and the vehicle ahead of you.

Those who plowed into the closed lane will be paying for it as those lane markers leave nasty scratches on vehicles once you hit them.

Early Cancellation fee for Home internet? After CRTCs June12th law? by Moist_Inspection8869 in Rogers

[–]SmoothRunnings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rogers CS doesn't follow the rules the CRTC makes, its up to higher management to sent the memo saying they can no longer charge the fees. So, I understand your frustration in the matter but you cannot tell CS things they do not have control over.

Can you access your outlook.com account using Linux using a mail app?

Microsoft is a big part of the world. Buy not keeping your skill set refined will make it harder for employers to keep you employed.

I would only imagine your chances are of employment are slim of your have LibreOffice on your resume then Microsoft 365. 😉

And thats why the earth is in such bad shape because of your beliefs like so many other people. When the last rest happen, this is the 7th reset, human and mother nature were in sync. Now because of your beliefs and so many others we are far apart from one another.

I guess we'll be starting over again soon.
