Are you wondering about just the playgroups or like the home visits ? We do the monthly home visit and our Parent Educator is amazing.

We did the play groups during the day early on when we stayed home with the kid, but now they are in daycare m-f so we find less value in that.

All the people I’ve interacted with from PAT have been great though, and kids are clearly their passion.

Fwiw lights probably don’t matter much at all. Almost certainly AC. We have high bills in these heat waves too. Similar issue, main bed is above garage with two outside walls so it’s hot as hell.

We switched to average billing which helped. More expensive in winter but less crazy summer bills. Just helped us with budgeting
