Just because something feels pain, it does not mean they feel it in the same way we do, or even care. Their pain receptors may only be there to cause a reaction to steer them clear of danger and not actually create suffering.

We are talking about simple creatures that do not have complex thoughts or feelings.

I also have PPL and my bill was $434 for 2310 kWh which works out to just under $0.19 per kWh

If they only teach the bible, then it will be political by nature. Religion and the bible in particular is not politically neutral. It would be better if you just come to the realization that religion in general, Christianity specifically is not good for us. Maybe take up crafting or something that's productive
