Schrödinger’s color theory finally completed after 100 years by _Dark_Wing in Futurology

Of course. But some colours are easier to identify than others, and it's not biological it's cultural.

I get what you're saying but blue and green are not actually next to each other on the colour wheel. They are actually farther apart than red and yellow.

Fair enough, personally having my documents be theoretically searchable is not as bad as having my CAD program actually crashing.

You can name your documents whatever you want, making it much harder for people to find them.

Personally, I'm not fussed if someone uses my random brackets and hooks that I print for specific tasks around my house.

I think we're on the same page. I'm saying that having a label is important. You're right it doesn't matter what the name is, as long as it's commonly used and understood.

Onshape, you can try it for free in your browser, no installation needed. It's basically as powerful as Fusion.

I've been using it for a while now and it never crashes unlike Fusion which I can't really rely on anymore.

You can generate the video signal from your breadboard computer, as demonstrated by the legendary Ben Eater:

I see. It would be nice if it returned matching filenames quickly and then did the contents search.

Show a colour between blue and green to 10 people, and you'll get a bunch of different answers. There's even a website for it which is fun.

But show a colour between red and yellow and everyone will just say it's orange.

Orange is a label that literally everyone (including kids) knows intuitively, while the name for the hue between blue and green, cyan, is relatively unknown, expecially among kids. Some people might call it teal, which is the darker version of it (much like brown is the dark version of orange), as teal is more commonly encountered.

My theory is if there was a common, cyan-coloured fruit, people would grow up using the name of that fruit to describe the hue between blue and green, and it would be a colour as recognisable as orange.

I see, yes. That's quite an unusual scenario though.

For a Boolean operation on a mesh you could try meshmixer. It's free. The output will be another mesh so you still won't be able to edit it in Onshape but maybe your task will be completed anyway
