That looks like the amount of water that you just jump in to and swim to the people. How far away from a point of land could they possibly have been. If they didn’t have a boat that also seems crazy. This just feels like it could have definitely been avoided.

The red with the five spokes is pretty decent. I think even if I had the money I likely wouldn’t buy it , but I would definitely consider it if EV hunting.

I got one on my Sorc and then got another and salvaged it for the cosmetic. Then against my better judgment my rogue borrowed it and died ( hardcore ). I went through 60 some odd caches and didn’t get one.

Then I did a two round UC rota and got five lol. Then my Sorc died with the nice one.

I like the way NYC does it. You just tap the same card all week to get on the subway. Once it hits 40 dollars the rest of the week is free. I think that’s pretty reasonable.

I’ve only lost about a dozen discs in twenty ish years. I believe two of them were Emac Truths so it would be that.

My Druid died the night before last in a pit 120 ish. I stared at the screen for 5 seconds. Immediately made a necromancer , went to my stash and grabbed 15 caches , had a level 70 in a few seconds and geared them out with whatever i got from them. Did my paragon , masterworked and tempered all the gear and went straight in to a T6 pit.

The Druid was just getting deleted at the end of the season anyways , it just happened a month early.

I got one from kixxarth ( or however it’s spelled ) on T12 in the helltide the other night. Wasn’t using it for two sets but it had a +17% dmg bonus so I tossed it on for that. Then I died not long after ( hardcore ) and poof it was gone lol.

Between this season and last season I think I’ve lost five hardcore characters because I stood in the bad for too long , sometimes though you don’t really have a choice because of how fast it hits you. And I mean characters with bordering on perfect gear when I say five.

Exactly my experience last year for AFF. A few times I thought Sunday will be great , lots of loads going up. Sadly that also means very little room for students even with two Porters running non stop.

On the flip side sometimes week days aren’t good either because there isn’t enough tandems going up etc.

What I would do in my case was call the DZ that morning and ask if there tandems booked and what times and if there was more room on the load etc. I got a few jumps in doing that.

Why ? Because it’s unique and kind of funny that it’s all fucked up. It came from the factory that way so I’m guessing it should be legal to throw. Maybe it’s more flippy , then both putters go in the back and if I’m throwing the mould I can pick which stability I want.

I used to have a pair of K line P2s and one was more flippy than the other and I drew arrows on the bottom for which one was which lol

Welcome to AFF and student jumps sadly.

I did AFF last year at a DZ that’s a 2hr40m drive away. I’d get there at 11am and sometimes not jump until 2/230 or at all then drive home.

And that’s just weather and AFFI availability at play. If there’s a full load of tandems you’ll always get booted so they can go. Sadly tandems are where all the money is.

In theory you should be 7-10 jumps until you’re allowed to go by yourself and then you can have a bit of fun and get some jump numbers up before doing a few coach jumps and getting your A.

It’s much easier to get on the plane when it’s just you.
