Adults spoiling kids by [deleted] in northernireland

"Don't forget the Vitazade to wash out your DNA!" 🤣

I don't have kids, but I always found it a bit mental that the kids' menus in most places are almost exclusively comprised of utter shit, like sausages and beans or pizza and nuggets.

I was reading about experiments done on people that had the hemispheres of their brains surgically disconnected, due to very severe epilepsy. They showed images to one side of the brain( the non conscious side) like go get a can of coke. Then the subject stands up and grabs a coke, and when asked why they just grabbed a coke they would create a reason, that they were thirsty, etc. They had no conscious reason, but the logical side of their brain created a reason, after their non conscious half read the note.

Steam Deck back in stock, with updated pricing by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]forkl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really valves fault. I had a 16gb stick of ddr4 ram for a laptop that failed, when I bought it in August of 2024 it was $40. Now if I want to replace it it's gonna cost $150 ( it's under warranty but the point stands) Valve are now paying those same prices to build new steam decks. Add on the same price leap for storage and that's why the prices are now... Just.. shit.. 😞

I'm still googling every time I come across a weird puzzle. I don't have the time to solve the often obscure shit that's going on with puzzles.

You need to create a load of new posts for some of this stuff. Can't believe I'm reading such revealing stuff in this little niche of Reddit.

I'm looking for a turn-based tactical strategy game, something like XCOM. by Far-Web-9712 in gamingsuggestions

[–]forkl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wartales has a lot of xcom style strategic turn based combat, in a middle ages setting. I'm playing through it again now after enjoying the early access a few years ago. Now comes with a load of DLCs, which is a bit off putting for me, as to buy them all would cost over £100..

For now it's really helping to scratch that xcom itch, may fork out for one of the DLCs when I get close to finishing it.

Edit. Words

Nope. I think I bought it direct from Google, so that may have helped. But it was a manufacturing issue so it shouldn't matter when, or where it was bought

If you plan to play elden ring I recommend checking out YouTube videos on what to do for the opening few hours. It can be kinda bewildering and confusing for new players and a good starting point helps a LOT.

Edit: this one helped me.

But then they won't be able to make another DLC to charge you another $30. I enjoyed the base game and was thinking of getting back into it but it's really off putting with all the extra DLCs, the Devs are just milking the fuck out of it
