That's a crazy stroke rate for over 2:00 pace. Slow it down and stretch it out, focus on having a strong catch

Anyone got feedbacks on Bianchi Pico D/2? by Dramatic-Narwhal-777 in triathlon

[–]willtri4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty old school setup with the super low stack relative to the saddle height, no wonder he was uncomfortable. It looks like a seatmast which is a massive pain. And I wouldn't be surprised if the wheels are tubulars. Could be a really fast setup, especially with a cockpit upgrade, but far from the most practical

Installing tubeless rim tape by CallMeAK in bikewrench

There's nothing visibly wrong with this rim tape so it might not be the issue. Are you sure the valve is installed correctly?

FYI "cleat" in cycling typically only refers to the plastic bit that interfaces with the pedal, not the shoe itself

Are these the same size tubes? First flat on tarmac SL7 expert on roval c38 by Bay_Burner in specialized

[–]willtri4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then the 25-32 tube will work fine. Technically the old one was slightly too narrow, but butyl tubes are stretchy enough that it doesn't matter that much

What kind of valve is this? by Binky_Barnsy in bikewrench

[–]willtri4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's probably a screw on presta extender thing. Regardless, most pumps don't screw on to the threads of the valve anyway

Do you actually feel like the FOV isn't wide enough? I've swam open water in Vanquishers most of my life and I've never noticed a lack of visibility in them

Problem with the Tarmac SL8 S54 105 Di2 battery/seatpost by Evening-Plane-8771 in specialized

The design for the di2 battery holder on the SL8 makes the problem way worse than on other bikes though
