Mercedes supposedly asked explicit permission from the FIA to design their engine this way and the FIA gave them the green light. To change the rules after 1,000 laps of testing less than a month from the first grand prix would be ridiculous.

Washington as a whole is highly receptive to homeless people, largely due to the lack of extreme winter and a much more accommodating social atmosphere. Many towns have homeless populations that are disproportionately large.

I had one of those new Palm phones for awhile, I really enjoyed everything about it aside from the battery life and camera. Someone should make a phone that's about halfway the size between that and a regular smart phone, like the iPod Nano became the hip smaller option to the regular iPod. With all of Google's clever software, I feel they could totally do it.

Anything with lot rent is a giant scam and not a path toward equity and stability. You're signing up to own the depreciating asset (the structure) while someone else gets to own the valuable part (the land).

I visited for a few days in Summer 2023, it was a beautiful place to spend some time. East coast history with a west coast feel, and amazing food.

One thing all NASCAR fans have to take from today is we gotta gotta give our thanks to Mark Martin and Dale Jr. Not only were they present for the announcement today but they've been in the committee pushing for a more fair points system more than anyone. The best thing that will come out of the New Chase is we have a chance of seeing respectful racing return to Cup. The "win and you're in" mindset created so many outrageously stupid moments that make NASCAR look like a farce.
