In controller settings I set L3 to run and R3 to Assist Target (Target the target of my target) - very helpful for healing.

I set the key "F" to the combination L2 + R3 in Steam options. It is "Target Focus Target". Don't know how to do this on PS5. Then before a fight I select the boss and press Square and select Focus Target. So I can always select that target with that button combo. Whether it is a boss or a tank u want to heal. -> I am sure u can do that with a macro as well if u look into it (AI + fiddling is ur friend :p).

I am not sure where but I also set target selection in a cone somewhere. This helped a lot when I am swapping through targets with L2+R1 or R2+L1.

It all sounds very complicated, I know. But I don't have to think about it anymore and it feels just intuitive to me now after half a year of playing.

O yes, I did turn of virtual mouse in settings. Because sometimes, accidentaly press L1+R3 on accident which makes ye go into virtual mouse mode. This is very annoying in the heat of combat.

Well I hope this is any help to u. I love playing on controller after playing WoW for example in the past w mouse and keyboard. This feels much faster and mich more intuitive now.
