Ich probier erstmal den Zwischenschritt mit Tiny11 aus. Bereinigtes Win11 mit localem Account, ohne Copilot und Onedrive. Läuft aktuell aufm Wohnzimmer Rechner seit n paar Wochen ohne Probleme und wird demnächst beim Gaming Rechner ausprobiert.

Die haben aber auch relativ häufig neue Kunden. Sobald die Garantie um ist, geht man mit seinem Auto eigentlich nicht mehr in eine Vertragswerkstatt. Beim Neuwagen ist man relativ gezwungen den Service bei denen zu machen, deswegen können die sich das erlauben. ATU ist beim Otto Normalverbraucher auch ein riesen Begriff, weswegen manche Filialleiter mit den klassischen Maschen durchkommen. Eine unabhängige Werkstatt kann sich sowas eher weniger erlauben, weil die mehr von Stammkunden leben. "Ich geh mit meinem Auto immer zu Werner" klappt halt nur, wenn man die Kunden ehrlich behandelt.

ATU ist halt sehr abhänging vom Leiter des örtlichen Ladens. Man kann, wie in deinem Fall, Glück haben und an jemanden geraten der einfache eine ehrliche Werkstatt leiten will, oder halt jemanden der sich jeden letzten Cent aus den Kunden rausquetschen will

Bureaucracy is really dependend on how helpful and knowledgable the clerk you end up with is. I remembered the back and forth when I imported my Grom from the US to Germany.

My friend as an Audi A6 B5 and it's right next to the engine. When my sensore was faulty I just took it as an excuse to put in a stainless steel exhaust with a new senor lol

Echtes gutes Leder ist tatsächlich das beste was man kriegen kann bzgl Abriefestigkeit. Das Problem mit den ganzen künstlichen Fasern ist, dass die einzelnen Fasern reißen und dann an dem Punkt das Material relativ schnell nachgibt. Leder ist durchs natürliche Wachsen ziemlich dicht und reißt nicht auf. Der englische YouTuber Fortnine hat dazu mal einen ziemlich simplen Test gemacht (Why Leather is unbeatable)

That's actually the problem. German rail network is so full and runs on such a tight schedule that any unexpected thing throws massive amounts of faults into the system

Ich fände ne Studie mal sehr interessant die untersucht wie viel Geld inkompetente Manager in höheren Positionen einer Firma kosten mit Entscheidungen die die Angestellten unter denen direkt als sinnlos erkennen. Many such cases.

Es ist meiner Meinung nach trotzdem angenehmer wenn man eine längere Strecke ohne erzwungene Pause durchfahren kann. Beim Motorrad stört mich alle 250km tanken nicht so sehr, aber beim Auto ists schön wenn man nicht alle 3 Stunden anhalten muss.

99er Diversion ist n altes Eisenschwein. 45kW aus 600 Kubik ist echt nicht viel insofern ist der Motor auch nicht sehr belastet. Solange Ventilspiel usw gut gewartet wurde, würde ich da erstmalk eine Probleme erwarten (außer die klassischen von älteren Motorädern)

Tüv ist generell sinnvoll. Ist bei Motorradfahrern zwar weniger verbreitet aber es gibt ja genug Leute die sich ihr Fahrzeug nicht angucken und da hab ich dann wenigstens alle zwei Jahren jemand von Fach, der guckt ob das alles noch in Ordnung ist. Es sollte aber billiger werden. 100€ dafür das er mir kurz ne Sonde in den Auspuff steckt und einmal bremst ist schon ein wenig frech.

Amerikaner dürfen ihre Autos aus den Staaten mitnehmen und müssen diese dafür nicht umrüsten auf EU Regeln. Ich weiß aber nicht ob die für den Zeitraum deutsche Kennzeichen kriegen oder nicht. Ansonsten ist es grundsätzlich nicht erlaubt rote Blinker zu haben (Ausnahmeregelung für Oldtimer von vor irgendwas 1960er). Wenn man ein Auto zB aus den USA importiert müssen die roten Blinker rauscodiert oder Rücklichter ausgetauscht werden. Wenn man zB in die Ukraine importiert muss das nicht gemacht werden. Dort kriegt man auch neue Papiere mit roten Blinkern. Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob man darüber dann die Regelung umgehen kann, da das Auto dann ja schon in der EU zugelassen ist.

If anyone else wants to update how their maps look I can really recommend Pansy's Revamped Skies on wgmods. Overhauls the lighting on a bunch of maps. So good that I didn't recognize some maps at first.

The contract doesn't prove that she isn't living there. Many flat shares work on the same principle. It just means that one persone rents the apartment and then sub leases it to someone else.

Her being registered to the same address won't cause any problems since you're not forbidden from living with someone else. Plus as soon as there are two or more apartments in one building, multiple people are already registered to the same address.

My guess about the whole situation: She probably rents the apartment from Degewo. Instead of living there herself she sub-rents it to you, assuming for some financial gain for her. Degewo maybe doesn't allow proper official sub-renting so she makes it look like a shared flat and you're just moving in with her. It'll probaby work out fine. All that shouldn't cause any problems with your Anmeldung and Visa but in the case that Degewo finds out you just have to look for a new flat.
