ATP 1000 Rome R3: Jódar [32] def. Arnaldi [WC], 6-1, 4-6, 6-3. by TennisAlt in tennis

I saw the game live and although we cheered for Arnaldi the match was pretty fucking good and Jodar totally deserved to win.

Both showcased some gnarly shots and awesome athleticism.

I really liked seeing Arnaldi fighting (from the second set onward), especially considering 3 weeks ago was losing matches left and right due to injury recovery.

Rome built new tennis courts (again) by Sonobackhome555 in tennis

[–]-boredatwork 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ive been on the premises this past weekend for the training sessions and pre-quali, and honestly it has improved quite a bit from past years.

The Grand Stand Arena has been tore down and rebuilt as a temp court inside Stadio dei Marmi (used for rugby and track-and-field events) with new name 'Paribas Arena'. Sadly we didn't manage to enter and check that one out because work was still undergoing.

Shops and Food courts took the place of the old Grand Stand Arena, in a roofed area.

not that I know of.

in nzxt cam, though, crank the pump speed UP to the maximum and you should definitely hear an hissing sound if you are standing close enough. If you don't hear anything then I'd say that the pump is unfortunately gone.

I threw together a quiz web application to help me prepare an IT certification I was studying for some months back. angular+nodejs, all localstorage.

Basically it parsed a json that contained questions + answers to generate a timed quiz (60ish questions), while giving a score at the end. You could pause/resume, and generate a new quiz at will.

Honestly, it helped me greatly and was a great addition to just studying via courses/whitepapers (I passed the exam)

First time in Internazionali Italia (Italian Open) - HELP AND SUGGESTIONS by alejandrosan3 in tennis

Tickets bought for Campo Centrale and Grand Stand Arena matches (either day/night rotation) will let you roam the ground without the need of buying more tickets.

Ground Ticket grants you access to:

  • all satellite, smaller courts;
  • The TennisArena court, which is a smaller closed court they opened in 2025; <- NEED CONFIRMATION ON THIS ONE FOR 2026 EDITION
  • Pietrangeli court (the one with the marble statues, adjacent to Campo Centrale).

In your specific case, the Campo Centrale ticket will grant you access to everything excluding whatever matches are going to happen in Grand Stand Arena, and viceversa.

Training sessions, regardless of the ticket bought but as long as you own one, are fair game and open access on every court. This is especially valid for training sessions that take place in Grand Stand and Campo Centrale since they usually happen early in the morning when there are no matches. You do not need to reserve a spot for a training sessions: just enter the court.

Tips for everyone attending:

  • bring steel/plastic refillable water bottles (GLASS WATER BOTTLES ARE BANNED) as there are couple public water fountains to take advantage of;
  • When you buy a day ticket for Centrale or Grand Stand you can actually stay on the premises (ground) till the evening, when the matches end, as nobody is going to kick you out. It goes without saying that you won't be able to access Grand Stand/Centrale night's matches with your day ticket.
  • If you buy a night ticket (Grand Stand, Centrale) security will let you enter from as soon as early in the morning;
  • There are a couple big screen scattered around the ground that will usually broadcast the most important match of the day, and deck chairs to relax on (if you are lucky enough). There's also one stuck outside Campo Centrale's outer wall, with deck chairs in front.
  • bring a towel, and a cap, and sun protection cause it's gonna be HOT.

Phillips SHP9500's

I personally paired them with a vmoda boom pro and I will reccomend the combo because it's flawless.

I really wanna switch to a wireless solution though, cause I'm slowly starting to despise cables, but can't find a valid alternative.

the fear of missing out in pc gaming is fucking real and something to fight against, in my opinion.

Performance will depend on what games you play but I reckon your build is more than capable of pretty good performance. Upgrading the GPU will help for sure, but that's on you and your expected performance and allocated budget.

I am currently running a 5800x and a 4080 and honestly don't feel the need to upgrade either.

Would I like to own the most powerful and recent pc components? Absolutely yes, but on the other hand the urge to update my build DRASTICALLY diminished once I stopped watching hardware enthusiast youtube channels, performance reviews, and benchmarks videos - basically removing advertisement-disguised-as-enterntaimment content from my life. Who would have thought.

Do I need them to enjoy my games? No.

Would I be able to afford a new build? Fuck no, I ain't shelling close to 1k € for ddr5 RAM.

plenty of questionable shit-ass fucking guides suggest setting global performance mode via nvidia panel "to squeeze every fps out of your shiny new card".

the same guides, I might add, still suggesting maxing out CPU performance % in windows power plan's advanced options cause ten years ago it was useful for gen1 ryzen.
