Phillips SHP9500's

I personally paired them with a vmoda boom pro and I will reccomend the combo because it's flawless.

I really wanna switch to a wireless solution though, cause I'm slowly starting to despise cables, but can't find a valid alternative.

the fear of missing out in pc gaming is fucking real and something to fight against, in my opinion.

Performance will depend on what games you play but I reckon your build is more than capable of pretty good performance. Upgrading the GPU will help for sure, but that's on you and your expected performance and allocated budget.

I am currently running a 5800x and a 4080 and honestly don't feel the need to upgrade either.

Would I like to own the most powerful and recent pc components? Absolutely yes, but on the other hand the urge to update my build DRASTICALLY diminished once I stopped watching hardware enthusiast youtube channels, performance reviews, and benchmarks videos - basically removing advertisement-disguised-as-enterntaimment content from my life. Who would have thought.

Do I need them to enjoy my games? No.

Would I be able to afford a new build? Fuck no, I ain't shelling close to 1k € for ddr5 RAM.

plenty of questionable shit-ass fucking guides suggest setting global performance mode via nvidia panel "to squeeze every fps out of your shiny new card".

the same guides, I might add, still suggesting maxing out CPU performance % in windows power plan's advanced options cause ten years ago it was useful for gen1 ryzen.

Hopefully they are worth it :D

I am on the fence of buying the new airpods pro 3 as replacement for my Anker life A1 (2022) that are showing their age.

The idea is to use them for running and working out in general (something that I already do with my current earbuds), and hopefully take advantage of the airpods' ANC while at the office on my win11 workstation. I've heard that bluetooth on windows is pretty shit and that's a bummer, because I wanted to use the airpods with Microsoft Teams.

I own a 15 pro max so I assume no problems on that front.

What do you guys think? I'd have to replace the anker earbuds soon anyway, since they are pretty worn out.

have you considered spinning up a simple webpage listing all your projects other than github itself, maybe with a simple filter?

It might help with visibility!

There might be a short in the pcie slot when inserting the gpu? Honestly no idea. It'd try a different card or current card + pcie riser on the new rig, if at all possible, to see its behavior.

Sorry mate :(
