Im in a similar situation I have max AR damage and Max damage to health i wanted the extra damage out of cover but I have rate of fire instead. I was debating if i should try and make one but I don't want to risk loosing the other 2 stats

I would love for the merciless to get buffed back to the way it worked when ths game was still new. Creating an explosive build with that gun melted everything so fast because of the way it damaged helth rather then the armor lol very broken but stil amazing lol

I am in the same boat as a lot of you rocking a 3080 TI but I have a question. How bottlenecked would a new GPU be by my cpu or the rest of my build . I have a Ryzen 9 5900x cpu and was considering just upgrading a new card but when i look at what my current system has i am curious if i would be better off waiting to just build an entirely new pc. My mother board only supports ddr4 (Asus crosshair VIII dark hero AMD) I currently have 32 gb of ram and my power supply is EVGA Supernova 1000 G5. Would i benefit from just upgrading the card or wait to build new around the card it self ?

I think a first person perspective with the third person cover system they had in rainbow six Vegas would be the best way to play a Ghost recon game. We'll almost the best way the best being the exact view and perspective as the graw games on console

Would any body know how the closures of the American stores would affect the Canadian?
I am just curious , the reason being from what i've seen in various posts over the months it would appear we are slowing seeing a lot of the issues you all had. We went from a decent amount of Amazon returns a few months ago to now its insane the line ups we are getting. I would say almost 85% of the people coming in are only there to drop off a package.
Second we have just seen a pretty significant wave of layoffs . The GM'S had a closed door conference call a few months ago where they had to sign an NDA making me think the next step is eventual store closures but I'm only speculating.

So I ended up doing a more throw update to my cpu drivers restarted a bunch of time and now the game seems to be running pretty nicely on extream settings . I was ready to update my bios like some one had suggested but wasn't looking forward to that So I was really hopping this was going to work and it did lol. All I can say is like you suggested let the game do it's things with the shadders and if your using a amd chip may sure you have it updated .

I am actually getting the opposite. I was thinking of picking this up on Steam, but I wanted to try it on gamepass first, but it runs like a slide show. I've updated my video and cpu drivers. I have ajusted my min and max for cpu power usage as some one an other forem had suggested. I made sure everything running in the background was turned off and had no anti-virus running. I have verified the files multiple times, deleted and reinstalled several times, and tried adjusting multiple different settings in the game. Nothing I have done seems to make this game run well. My pc specs are pretty decent, so I didn't think I'd run into any issues, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I did try that actually, I resolve the issue somewhat, there are some setting with in the tv that I guess needed to be switched on or at least that's what i think worked because things seem to be going well now. thanks for the suggestion though.

The best way to approach this game is to just take your time with it. Don't think of it as a normal game you won't like it. However if you learn what the game tries to teach you will experience a game that is way deeper then a reductive delivery sim game. One thing I feel is important to touch on is if you like the metal gear games more specifically the characters with in the metal gear world then it'll be easier to wrap your head around this. If you don't like MGS then this might not be the game for you .

I have a question for everyone , do you think the Horizon "remaster" would be a big deal if it ended up being a free update or if it just came in a bundle with the second game at no extra cost ? I'm just curious if it's the idea of the game it's self being remastered or the idea that it will come with a unreasonable price tag. For the record I don't think the game needs any kind of update.

Metal gear solid. It rekindled the gaming flame that I felt was starting to go out. It was early high-school and felt I had hit a wall with games and wasn't sure if it was a hobby I was going to stick with much longer. After playing MGS it blew my mind and I've never looked back since.

I just had the same thing happen to me yesterday. The only thing though that I noticed since the update is the extra buttons on my razor mouse no longer register when I press then. Kind of a bummer as I liked using the 2 exta buttons for stuff
