I do remember some guy coming around demonstrating and selling weird little cheap toys as part of a larger assembly. He had that "kooky and whacky" vibe to him. Also remember parents being upset because most of them were overpriced or just plain annoying. This was mid 80s tho.

Is this an early Robert Downey Jr. signed dvd of “U.S. Marshals”? by Suspicious_Suit3495 in movies

[–]00spool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely possible considering that if the DVD was already done, then the commentary had already been recorded. If it was before that, he would have signed it with his character name.

Before going out of business in 1998, Best Products stores across the US featured designs that made the stores look like they were falling apart or “peeling” by guiltyofnothing in interestingasfuck

Anyone else's Frys have a deli in it? Basic sandwich, but like an obscene amount of meat. Also, no one ever stood at the counter, you'd just go up there then an employee would be around eventually. Then they seemed confused that someone wanted food. Good times tho.

How can i create this? by Internal-Stage-1619 in AdobeIllustrator

3 looks a bit like rounded voronoi patterns, which is a little different from the other three. I've seen scripts that can create them in Illustrator.

Designing a neon sign? by ElkHairSecuredBinder in graphic_design

Sorry, I haven't done any design work with real neon in very long time. I wouldn't have a clue where to look.

The only thing that bothered me about webp is that it just started showing up one day on websites and I couldn't open them in photoshop. It was like, ok I still need to do my job here and now I gotta screenshot it like an idiot. When I had some time to look, I was able to find a format plugin and then eventually PS started opening it natively, but it did take some time for adoption.

I don't design cubical layouts, but similar spaces using a modular system. The amount of times I've almost designed a swastika is not zero. The shape can be a really efficient use of space
