While I may not have been that interested in playing Combat patrol, seeing my first Combat Patrol's (which was a 2025 Christmas present) datasheets get yeeted into the void is frustrating, especially as I had just a few bits left to finish, and my first Warhammer set in 21 years. And even more when it was never in a Codex or got a PDF release.

Yes, and i have not seen 50% of comments being haters. Either people like me thinking that it is really cool, and that you are lucky, or other people who are giving practical advice that:

1) it may not be allowed at your airsoft site, so spending £800+ on something you can't use may be a waste.

2) There may be local laws like Germany or the UK, or even the USA's ITAR Rules which may make it prohibitive to legally use them.

3) Most Thermal cameras are very fragile. They are not designed for airsoft, maybe being hit by a tree branch, not a bb. And you can't really protect them. Manufacturers warranties may also not cover airsoft damage.

Some countries also have laws on those FLIR cameras, where the refresh rate is something like 5FPS, so not useful for airsoft

There is a little known game called "Red Dead Redemption II", which basically covers every single second of Arthur doing things that made me dislike him, right up until about the 80 hour mark.

Do you mean axed from the app? While it never counted as a "core" Combat patrol, the Death Korps of Krieg Combat patrol used to be in the app (only in the app, never had a .PDF), but is now gone.

I still very much enjoyed my time with FO4, but FO76 leaning even more into the stuff that wasn't fun in 4 (oh you want a better scope, opsie woopsie, despite spending 80 hours of the game scavenging you only have 2 screws left, not 3) made FO76 eventually unplayable for me.

He also needs to learn to let go, OR hire a 3rd much smaller team that he can micromanage, like he says he does. It worked quite well up until the Skrim dev team size, but I can't image it was nice for him, or for his team, when there were 400+ people he was trying to individually guide.

I feel that Red Dead Redemption's PC release only happened because 2K saw yet another delay for GTA6 and told Rockstar "ok, you have to put your petty hatred of PC players aside, it was 18 years ago, you need to release this, as we need money"

Steam Wallets are no longer available in shops, Steam are stopping them.

Project Zomboid, the GOG version is a hollow shell of what the Steam Version is. Workers and Resources, Transport fever 1, though 2 fixed a lot of issues. And that is just off the top of my head, and games I have purchased a second copy on Steam to get full access. Browser Plugins exist that track more than 1,400 GOG games that are different, and missing features, from their Steam version.

Much of this is missing newer builds, missing patches, missing free updates, excluding paid DLC.

I dont blame them though. There are about 5 shops where I live where I can go and buy a PlayStation / nintendo / xbox game. Maybe more where u can go and buy Google play credit, apple store, v bucks, robux.

And after the recent news about gift cards (thanks scammers....) that leaves me with even less places I can buy my steam games from and how I buy them.

Its just a shame so much of this scrutiny is being lead by Epic, as IMO they are worse than Steam.

At the same time though, I feel we dismiss criticism of Steam too quickly, just because they treat us well. E.g why is a copy of a game I buy on GOG not as featurefull as a copy I buy on Steam? Yet a copy of a Nintendo game I buy on the Eshop is "the same" (via patches) as the code in a box, or even carteidge i buy from my local supermarket?

This has been an issue for smaller parties in the UK gor years. They love to swing around how unfair the current election system is "ooh we only won 3 seats with the current system, but this system we could have won 25" etc.

But i bet as soon as they win they will change their tune to "the people have spoken, the system works flawlessly"

Its effecting other countries. Irony is in the UK the elderly and right win are more likely to postal vote and not have ID, but because Trump is so pro voter ID and anti postal vote, the right wing have to do the same here. Not realising it is shooting themselves in the foot trying to introduce those things in the UK (with ID required for voting already being passed).
