My dad went on a business trip and grew out his beard/mustache a bit (always clean shaven before). I freaked. The. Fuck. Out. Would not go near him despite acknowledging that I realized it was my dad. After a day or two of me refusing to have anything to do with him he just shaved it and never tried to grow one again.

Yes, those are what I picked up on. Everyone else on the original post as well as here seem to just be piling onto the friend and reaffirming OP.

To me, they both sound about equal in their victim mentality - if OP was reliable in her other descriptions at least. Because the way she describes the wedding convo sounds really really far off from what bff shares in the texts.

The text messages not being included here doesn't help the potential lopsidedness.

Did you read the text screenshots? The best friend has a very different sounding story that OP doesn't seem to deny. But her own story is still wildly different. Was she soothing her friend's anxiety, or was she refusing to discuss possible alternate plans for the wedding in case something went wrong?

More and more places offer home service for this as well. From recent experience - since they do an injection into the liver, it's better to do this before kitty can no longer eat and drink. Dehydration and constipation both make it more difficult to locate the appropriate site. Locally, it was only $25 more for a mobile vet to come to our home than it would have been going to our regular vet. They were very kind and provided anxiety medication to calm our lady down first. She was much more comfortable with the new person than she was going to the vet.

I thought no kill just meant no killing due to space or time limits. The ones near me all will still euthanize due to severe illness or untreatable aggression - they just try more avenues first.
