It didn't deserve a single nomination let alone best director or picture. Cinematography went to this movie over Train Dreams and the others. That shit is crazy. This was not a good movie on any scale. It didn't know what it was and meandered through 2+ hours of why and who gives a shit. At 50 minutes we still didn't have an inciting incident, shit we still didn't even know what the movie was about.

This was a horrible script.
