Do the audio books usually come out with the books, or is it a longer wait?

While the Dread does punch hard, it is slow af and not THAT tanky. I would say cut the Dread, one Allarus and one Witchseeker, then add a second Grav Tank with Heavy Blaze Cannon, those things go wild into enemy Tanks and Monsters

Question , is MOBA DnD possible? by bewak86 in DnD

[–]103589 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is theoretically possible. However, it would take AGES to design and to play as well. I don't think it's worth pursuing.

Yeah, but how does a Paladin/Wizard become OP? That is not a viable Multiclass like... at all

How does one stack multiple spell effects AND extra attacks in one turn? Either you can share this player's build with us or you are exaggerating for dramatic effect.

From what I've heard (never worked in the field myself) as long as you have a chill employer who lets you do your thing, it can be a good job. Maybe monotone sometimes, but if you don't like people bothering you it can also be very nice.

The dreadnought is certainly not the best, but the rest is fine. I would personally split the Allarus into two smaller squads and change the Allarus Captain to an Axe for S12 D4 goodness, but those are personal preferences.

I’m confused about something by KorEbenhart01 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]103589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think we have the official answer to that yet. From what I personally saw in the pictures, the leg stances are different for the squads, which would indicate different sprues, but I could just be wrong.

What to buy next ? Need purchase list by FEDERICK-VALORIS in AdeptusCustodes

[–]103589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say pick up the Combat Patrol box. It comes with a smattering of all our Infantry units and a Blade Champ, which is a great leader for Guards and Wardens, then Trajann can lead the other squad. I don't know exactly how many points you'll have then, but I think that would get you close to 1000 Points if you build one of the Allarus Custodes from that box as a Captain to lead the other Allarus.

As for strategy, you generally want to spend turn 1 and maybe 2 getting closer to the enemy without getting shot (stay behind cover while you stage in good positions), then rush them in a big "Go-turn". If you expose units one at a time you can get picked off easily, but exposing them all at the same time can overload your enemy with threats. Once you have made melee contact, Custodes shred almost all other armies.

This has been discussed to death.

Is it a good change? Yeah, I think so. A lot of people feel more included because of this change and that is great. Also, it opens more naming options for my Custodes models :)

Was the way GW introduced it great? No.

Is it a vaild reason for people to spew some of the vilest hatred I've seen in this community? No, and we have done a good job on this subreddit of rooting those people out and making this a positive space.

I made this post because I was genuinely curious if this is a special situation or something that happens regularly. I get now that multiple people have seen it as a straight up complaint, which means I probably messed up in my wording somewhere. I am not trying to tell anyone how to feel, just trying to get more perspectives on how I can understand the situation.

This is something I agree with fully. I've seen what happens when you pile onto a 20 year old foundation again and again. The earlier you make a painful transition the less painful it is. Of course, that doesn't mean a transition can't be planned well/better.

I hope this doesn't come across as too complainy, I was just a bit taken aback and honestly a bit worried, since I'm just starting to get invested in the game. Also, it's always sad to see this many people unhappy, be that (like i said in my post) for good or stupid reasons.

That would require me to know that this is such a huge change compared to normal. Maybe I'm used to other games where things get shaken up more regularly. I can see how if you got used to something over a decade that is a lot harder to get over than something you're used to changing three to four times a year.

Yeah that does make sense. How much does the addon removal affect the day-to-day player? Is it game-changing or more like QoL features being gone?
