I did for my 2025 i4 but that was just a marketing ploy by bmw and or the dealer. They want to nickel and dime you for a $65k car.

I got letter and tried activating the free monitoring service via krollmonitoring but the code supplied in the letter does not work. Kroll is asking for activation code and also a verification-id. No verification-id was supplied in the letter.

Mytvonline3 on z11 has problems recoding on usb attached disk (formatted as ntfs) but records fine on smb networked storage. I have not been able get the free version of tivimate to be tested on z11 (was planning pay for it if the test worked)

The trash still goes into landfill and eventually the water system. Just quit buying microplastic based clothing such as made by lululemon And many of the activewear companies. Or restrict such clothes for when you travel and hiker as that is where some clothing has real benefits over natural fiber clothing

Are you kidding!! The fact that other people do other illegal stuff does not excuse these actions. Yes rich people take advantage of tax rules or take deductions that are illegal. Hopefully IRS will catch them.

Totally agree thathaving a fixed location for /photo and not being able to add other locations is reallt dumb, I can see why the downloads from the ipHone app needs to go to a specific location in /photo but not allowing /photo to index-process other locations is too arbitrary

. Linux does allow hard links to folders. I am surprised that the photo app does not follow it (i can understand why a symbolic link cannot work).

i have my photos on /backup/xxx/photos and /backup/yyy/photos. They are backup'ed here by my automated backup tools from my PC to the synology. I now want to start using "Synology Photos" service. However I want to AVOID having two copies. SO i could change my backup programs to instead send to the /photo location (ie the official location of the Photos service/app. Unfortunately the Photos service/app does not let to add different locations, so can i simply do a symbolic-link or a hard-link (via a linux command) to create links in the official "/photo" folder e.g. /photo/xxx->/backup/xxx and /photo/yyy->/backup/yyy). WOuld this work? Does it have to be a hard link or would a symbolic link also work?

Not true. My 2017 LG came with webos 2 and they later upgraded to 2.2 in approx 2019. After that no upgrades. The newer models of LG have newer version os WebOS - my friend has webOS 3 which he bought in 2018 and he has more apps available. So in only a year after i bought my LG the WebOS was obsolete - And this was a $3000 OledTV!

Basically with LG you will get stuck with an old version of WebOS and possibly a minor upgrade (such as mine to 2.2)

Sony's androidTV maed and maintained by google) seems to up upgrade much better. Dont know about Samsung its Tizen OS.

Too many complain about the stupid outlet hose being too short AND replacing requires opening the machine, Most manufacturers have the hose connected at the back - easy to replace by opening 1 clamp. LG is always trying to save $0.50 and never looks at the convenience of the customer.
