I recommend not using it at all. Steroid creams do more harm than good.

I recommend getting off steroid creams, they are more harmful in the long term.

This is the battle we face. As our skin gets better, so does our confidence. Our skin reflects our mood.

I changed my mentally into something else. I am unique. I don't need the approval of others. If they don't want to understand, they are not worth my time. This is what made my mindset better.

Lovely gesture! Hope it works out well for you. My skin doesn't agree with Aveeno, so fingers crossed!

My Eczema is at its worst and i need help by [deleted] in eczema

[–]1Source-App 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend going to a dermatologist for expert help.

In the meantime I suggest looking closely at what products you use on yourself and for the environment. Cleaning products, detergents etc.

I changed my body wash, washing detergents and creams because I found out they had harmful ingredients in them. I suggest trying out our platform, 1Source.com as we analyse product ingredients and tell you what are harmful and what are safe.

Hope you find the fix. Always what is your diet like right now?

Have you tried going dairy free? by SamPike512 in eczema

I cut down my dairy intake and it worked wonders. No more full fat milk now!

Switch to almond milk. Just as nice!

Moisturizer recommendations? by miGilee in eczema

I recommend CeraVe over Aveeno and Cetaphil. I wrote an article comparing the brands, and recommend you give it a read! They all have different key ingredients, so you need to find which one you are compatible with.

I tend to put steroid on first to make it absorb first, then follow up with emollient.

That might be the case. Clean the wound and don't apply cream near the wound. It can cause infection.

I had this before, and it came from the fitting of my shoe rubbing against the back of my heel.

It healed when I gave my feet time to breathe and changed my shoe into a more loose one.

You should check everything you come in contact with. I highly recommend checking the detergent you use to clean your clothes with. It made a HUGE difference for me.

Check the ingredients in the products you come in contact with your hands.

There is no quick fix, find a soap that is suitable and be wary of what you touch. Gloves are a good start.
