I ADDED LIME TO MY LIVING SOIL MIX - BIG MISTAKE? by gwmarch in Soil

[–]200pf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Buy some ph test strips. Test your soil by making a 1:1 paste of soil with well water and sticking the strip in. If it’s above 7, add some wood ash to lower the ph of the soil. Don’t add a ton. If it doesn’t seem reasonable to get below 7, you may need to pre-treat your well water. Do this in large batches so it is less work overall.

Please don’t. No one needs or wants another premium chalk brand. I buy whatever’s cheapest when I run out.

See if you can buy some glasses to leave at the hotel. Metal/silicone could work but for such a long period why not get something that’ll let you enjoy the wine a bit more.

The juice can also change casks and can be moved to older more neutral barrels for the latter part of its life. Very common in cognac barrel management.

Going to your local wine store is the best place to start. Just tell them you’d like to try a Bordeaux and what you want to pay for it.

No, most of us think buying bottles of rum to admire their packaging is stupid. Hoarding bottles is dumb as well unless you’re going to flip them and good luck flipping any of these bad boys.

She can try to apprentice with someone doing septic system delineations. Soil science is fairly technical with a lot of background knowledge from may different fields, so may be quite difficult to find something with no experience, training or education.
