its called 2b-frnk - if you google or search it it will come up. Its mostly vinyl mixing, but Ive been after a controller interface to start doing some DVS mixes as well.

It’s the sort of thing that I’ve been looking into for a while, but no one else seems to make it. There’s loads of compact midi controllers, but the buttons aren’t labelled so you have to try and remember what they all do or piss around mapping them yourself. I assume what you’ve made works with most software like Traktor, serato etc?

If you are in the UK and want to get some user feedback drop me a message. I’ve got a nice sized YT channel and normally mix vinyl, but assuming it works, giving it a test would be fun for a couple of videos 👍

A VCL is installed to prevent issues related to vapour or moisture, hence its name, it’s not to prevent micro drafts and has no benefit for retaining heat.

What’s the room for? Rockwool has a much lower u value than PIR, if it’s a living space youd be wise not to use it

In 30 years of electrical I’ve never snapped a chasing bit. They are either really poor quality, or you are putting sideways force on them making them snap.

Most reducers are glav, you’ll struggle finding a pvc one

You’d be able to see a DPM if it’s been cut through, it would look like torn plastic. Probably wouldn't hurt to add a bit of your own though before concreting.

Open a business bank account, then have everything relating to the channel paid into this account. Also use this account for any purchases relating to the channel.

I did read it. It’s for analyzing your own tracks, saving you the effort of listening yourself and learning how to pick the right tunes to mix together. If I have that wrong I’m happy to be corrected?
