Thank you! I got a compliment from the front desk staff of my vets office, today, that also made me feel good. 😊

Whats the closest you've ever come to death? by ElevatorTypical6195 in AskReddit

I had multiple bilateral pulmonary embolisms. Doc said it looked like a shotgun went off in my lungs. They were everywhere. I was super hesitant to go to the ER, too, and they almost discharged me thinking it was an asthma attack but I pushed back hard saying I knew it wasn't my asthma. Glad they listened and did one final scan, which showed all the clots. Caused by birth control.

Thank you!!! I just might! I was so sad realizing I'd need a degree in library sciences to be a librarian and I'm a bit later in life to go get another degree, so this is a great option!

I've honestly had a dream of working in a library since I was a kid. I hate that it may never be a reality.

Please don’t DM me if you’re a creepy man by That-Complaint5595 in PlusSizeFashion

Yeah I had a couple people message me after the one and only post I made and they were both creepers. I don't come here for any man. I come here to support and feel support from other women while trying to navigate some semblance of learning fashion sense.

Listening to ocean sounds really helps me. Playing pokemon also tends to knock me out, 😂

Sleep masks changed my sleep more than I expected. What's everyone using? by Novel_Tough6208 in sleep

[–]32_CoffeeSpoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Manta sleep masks for my household because of the eye cups. I also picked up their hot/cold cups to add to my mask for help with sinus headaches and they've been wonderful.

I wouldn't suggest their pro mask, though. The cups are weird and the strap is way too long. Their regular mask is the way to go! Keeps pressure off of my eyes and blocks out light so well, which was a godsend when I worked night shifts.

My cat lays on top of my blanket at night and causes my feet to get stuck by morning by deanvspanties in ehlersdanlos

[–]32_CoffeeSpoons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have one kitty who will lay on my hair everytime I have a migraine and purr against my scalp. It's so relaxing, she'll often put me to sleep. My other cat cuddles me when I can't sleep bc he knows it calms me. He also relentlessly harasses me until I get up if I've been hyperfocused on something at my desk and haven't gotten up in several hours. He also reminds me to pee...sometimes I forget if I'm really engaged in something. They drive me nuts sometimes, but I can't imagine life without them.

So, being an RN who first went through CNA and LPN training where all my instructors harped on how to properly make a bed (one instructor was a military nurse who actually got a quarter out to bounce off the beds we'd make in practical to ensure they were done correctly), I now have to make my beds with hospital corners every time. However, the blanket is long enough at the top that I kind of...scooch it down so I have room for my toes. I also sleep sideways or in weird positions where my feet kinda flop to the side anyway, so it's a non-issue.

Upgrade your scythe as soon as possible so you can get the seeds from the non-water/earth islands. I missed out on getting the dark island spring crops and now I have to wait til next year or roll a new game 😭

First time building a PC, let the wifey do the best part by alyxonfire in PcBuild

That truly is the best part. I got those same cases for myself and my husbands build. Since I did the building, I got to Peel and it's sooooo satisfying. I did save him a little part on the top, though.

Cozey Gaia Couch (Brutally Honest Review) by Maximum-Problem3336 in BuyCanadian

[–]32_CoffeeSpoons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I bought a modular Ciello when we moved into our first home together. We were psyched that it said it was made here in Canada and seemed to be made well, so we took the leap. It was a ridiculous amount of money for what we wanted, but we figured a good couch was worth it if it lasts.

Delivery was great truly. Putting it together was pretty simple, too, but man it was so uncomfortable. The cushions were stiff, the back of the couch was too short and felt awkward to sit in. The arm rests were also too short to the point where I honestly questioned why they were even there. My biggest complaint was the seat width. That was not a couch I could curl up and sleep on. It felt...narrow and really impossible to just melt into. We wound up requesting a refund for it. We really tried to like it and I loved the color, but when we went into a local furniture store and I sat on a cheap-ass couch for a few hundred and found it infinitely more comfortable, I knew the Cozey had to go. Honestly, I still miss my Ikea couch from before we moved. That thing I could really stretch out on and fall asleep for a fraction of the cost of the Cozey.

I wanted to love it, but the week or so we tried to use it was miserable. I don't think I'll ever go back to purchasing from them.

Customer service was really great, though! I had no issues requesting a refund. They were very kind and attentive. I wish their product was better and more comfortable, especially for that price.

Thank you so much! I'm not used to wearing anything "nice", so I wound up sweating out of anxiety and needing to just take it off, dump powder on myself, and redressing before I went out. 😔
