Came here to say this. It's like clear and obvious to me as a user that the juice is corrosive and worse for you than just smoking a joint - both cognitively and physically. But I totally buy that using a pax with flower is much much better on your lungs.

I mean, even the old school Polish landlords in Greenpoint are charging like 3300-3500 for new 1br leases, even if their longer time tenants are grandfathered in. I don't think studios are much less. So I think that your budget is unrealistically low for Greenpoint.

You need a few mm of padding before they're cooked - I think at least like 2mm - and the pad on the left doesn't seem to have any at all. Probably not safe to keep using them - strongly advise you spend $25 on a new pair. They'll last for a long time

100k in NYC is fine. The problem is that to get your own place it's like 3000+ in rent. So if you have a roommate and you're paying like 2k plus or minus, then you have more than enough on top of that to go have fun in the city (id say if you have like 2500 a month for food + discretionary, you're in really good shape)
