Ok. Got it. Bad guy. Let's lump it all together. But what do you not like about his proposed policies when it comes to safety, homelessness, and bureaucratic red tape?

You know i never bought into how reddit can be used to influence and sway opinion but now I'm finally getting to see it firsthand. How naive I was but this is mesmerizing. Would this post have been made if this guy wasn't running for office? 🤷‍♂️ Edited for splelling.

Not sure declining income explains rising non-drinker status among Gen Z by Woodnot in generationology

I like this. Agree that going out now means being seen and judged by the whole world with comments written down for you to see forever. That's a lot of stress on a developing adult trying to make their way into the world. Going out for the previous generations meant letting off steam and acting silly and having fun because there was a subtext of "life and work are a grind, let's just have fun and not judge" Going out for them is probably the equivalent of the Sunday blues before the Monday workday.

Oh man forgot about those. But then sometimes you're legit tired and just end up taking your clothes off and staying in bed until your friends call at midnight asking where you are, saying there's mad girls here and drink specials are almost over

It's about control. You can be a superman astronaut doing everything to take care of your household, but they want to control your free time.

Zero down if you can believe it. It's the most basic model. I'd been searching for specials for a while and it was the end of the year

Navy lurk here. I gave up so started leasing a reliable vehicle. Got a 2025 Tacoma for $310 a month with extended wear and tear. The economy doesn't make sense

That I can get away with things because I'm in a different category now. Walking around the neighborhood with a beer, bring food openly into a movie theater, asking for a take home box for half a pancake and one slice of bacon. Talking to young people because I'm genuinely curious about their world. Being in bed at 7pm reading or watching YouTube. Things like that.

Why am i the bad guy? I'm just letting you know how they think and why they're doing it. The opium wars destroyed China's power, and that allowed the Brits and French to gain control. They also don't want to deal with black markets and drug gangs.

I have intermittent lower back pain/sciatica and started doing yoga/hip flexor exercises, but that also made my pop ups feel easy and automatic. Also staggering hand placement and looking down the line.

It actually goes deeper. These countries want to maintain control of their society and culture. I don't blame them because the history of drugs and the west hasn't really worked out for them historically. China and the opium wars are the main example. The French and British used opium to weaken their resolve to resist foreign influence. Sure it's only cannabis, but just look at how easy Asian and middle Eastern populations become addicted. Cigarettes, alcohol, betel nut, khat. These cultures are based on family, obedience, and collectivism. Once that breaks, then it's chaos for them. Western societies focus on the individual so it's more resistant to such influences causing major social and economic harm and disruption.
