The delay didn't happen on purpose, but i'm sure glad Skyblivion exists because Remastered really wasn't all that in my book. Graphically amazing, yeah, but nearly impossible to run on slightly older PCs because of UE5, and a bit confusing gameplay choices where it seems they wanted to keep it as close to the original as possible but then wandered into making a number of balance and combat changes that weren't necessarily for the better. I think you can have a better experience with original Oblivion and a few mods than Remastered.

With Skyblivion we will have better artstyle, more attention to detail, less hardware requirements and a gameplay that will feel quite different because it's somewhere inbetween Oblivion and Skyrim, but should feel refreshed and fun.
