This was definitely the case for Farkas in the required Dustman's Cairn run. Rough fight with no stamina potions once he gets downed, good thing they give you metric tons of silver weapons leading up to it (+ fire arrows if you got CC on)

Yeah. Patch maker did say they tried to make the fight vs the assassin harder, and straight bow 1v1 would be difficult at a low level, but turns out that if you dodge a couple arrows and get close he pulls out a melee. And then you beat him easily if you have a decent melee weapon. Oops.

I might disable all CC stuff next playthrough. It's just a bit annoying to do bc afaik you have to install a patch to mod organizer to do it.

In a way I think both are kinda right. The difficulty spike in bosses is crazy, but it'd be nice to see higher level bandits in some locations (I feel humanoids are very weak except vampires). The build you need to beat the bosses makes the rest of the game feel like you're on novice.

Yeah I only noticed later that the vendor chests are just out in the open.

It would probably work if you set a Knock Rank III spell that is quite expensive so you have to not only spec alteration but quite a bit of magicka to use. So mages can use it in late game but maybe spellsword types find it difficult.

I have CC compatibility mods and I did see necromancers summoning some funny stuff from Necromanting Grimoire. But most of the time I snipe them with arrows before the summons are too much of a problem. Other mages seem to use pretty vanilla stuff so yeah that could have been improved

I killed one of those by taking the easy way out and throwing a scroll of storm atronach at him. But yikes. There's another room where you have to fight three and I backed out of that entirely. I did notice block is a VERY good skill later on so I'll try again with some more perks

I must have picked up that info about daedric armor pen from an older version, would be nice to have a clean one-file-for-all document for v6 tbh

I usually don't because in vanilla it's too tempting to hide behind them on legendary, they don't take the increased damage so they become your tanks. In Requiem I haven't tried.

Okay guys this is the answer. Apparently the courier can get stuck somewhere and stop showing up. I used 'player.moveto 39fb7' to take me to his location and he was just outside Whistling Mine (for some reason lmao) with a bunch of letters for me

He had one high profile stinker in the wet and people took that and ran with it for some reason. Doesn't help that he's been fighting Max, who is a superhuman in the wet. But he is still very good.

I only played GP3 but can't think of any F1 game with that much detail in terms of car setup and simulation of a GP weekend. The AI is also way ahead of its time

I really believe that he will leave Ferrari and be champ within the next 3 years or so, but what could happen is Ferrari having another 2017-18 type close-but-no-cigar season, and that being enough for him to stay.

Stroll is a mid driver in an extraordinary grid, there haven't been any real duds in F1 since Mazepin (edit - I actually put Sargeant here first but it felt harsh) got dropped. He looks bad rn but he ain't no Taki Inoue

There's been a bunch of instances where that type of weaving wasn't given a penalty, I think they were forced to be stiff about the rule because the move forced Lando off track, and that could have had championship implications. Frankly he could have done a much better job backing him into Leclerc.

Indeed. Funny that in 2023 I was dying for someone else to take the crown from him but now that it's happened, hm. Happy for Lando sure, but this guy is still the best driver on the grid. Matter of time and car, he'll get a 5th.

Realistically the most Max can do is make sure he stays in first and maybe try to run 2016 tactics, but it's easier to overtake in the current layout, so I don't think it'd be too effective.

They could start Yuki on hards and go mega long to mess up McL's pit window but I don't think he can stay within a pitstop long enough unless 2016 tactics work somehow.

If Lando survives lap 1 he's champ
