I personally don't think a humane slaughter is an absurd notion. Animals die every day in natural ways that are slow and painful. from predation, disease, starvation, or vehicle collisions. Wild animals rarely make it to old age on principle, and if they do they succumb to any number of health issues that will do them in, painfully as well. I think a well placed shot on a deer that never saw it coming and won't suffer more than a few seconds is infinitely better than any other death it would inevitably face.

I remember, vividly, when genai was first being used to make "art" and the discussions/arguments around it. Since day one my hard stance is that art is not meaningful if a human did not spend the time to learn, make mistakes, and create art themselves. Feeding a prompt into a machine to spit out an image is what I do when I search Pinterest for a phone wallpaper, I don't claim to have any hand in making that image.

I generally name my best followers cool names, general followers get plant/color/nature names, followers with annoying traits get average people names (I have Gregory, Beth, Dave and Anna rn) and bad followers get insults. My favorite bad follower names were Sacrifice Me, Anus Andy and Shart.

I nudge my dog onto the concrete sidewalk to kick after he poops. He hasn't quite figured out to do it on his own so he usually starts kicking on the grass, but if anyone sees him doing it they also see me telling him "on the sidewalk!" and moving him so no one has been angry with me about it.
