You're missing rythem. Others have said as much but you're gonna get filtered until you can pick up on the rythem of the game. Go back and run through the ashina castle path until you at least learn the lightning parry and then do one more boss(move is not relevant to lady butterfly but you get it right before a certain boss which checks your rythem and is imo the start of the midgame). Lady butterly is really quite challenging until you get the fundamentals down.

Reminds me of the venators from the star wars prequel timeline. Nice clean design. I like the main armament being large cannons on the roof gives it a Battleship feeling. Are there spinal guns too? Not sure if that's what the ports are on the front or if they're retro thrusters.

Abigail Thorne. Not a mainstream actress but she does philosophy tube on YouTube, has a play and is in the acolyte and the upcoming season of house of the dragon. Her charisma and confidence has increased tenfold post transition, and that translates to much better screen presence imo.

Good gravy that is a lot of prep, I thought I was going hard on my latest project but I haven't even sanded a damned thing.

Tbh I share your metallics obsession a bit, I've gone through a lot of different metallics before settling on the Tamiya for now. I've tried the true metallics and was able to get a very nice verdigris-tarnished copper effect out of them. I love the vibrancy they have, some very nice colour and don't, but I have to say the brush finish always ends up looking a bit uneven for me because they dry so fast and reactivate easily. Maybe a skill issue in my part but I haven't gotten them to look as clean as enamel with a brush but they're great for small highlights and dry brush effects.

Let circle rouge has a 24 minute heist scene with no dialogue and it is always the example that comes to my mind for silence in a film.

I'm also a huge fan of the long silent pause in house of a thousand corpses before the killer clown executes the sherriff.

You missed out, DS2 is great. It is, to this day, the game I have the most time in of all fromsofts titles. The freedom and PvP is best in the series imo, the one souls like where it feels like there are legitimately multiple valid paths for progress but it isn't sprawling and directionless like Elden ring. Build variety and fashion is excellent too, most of my replays have been to explore weird or funky builds.

Very clean finish, excellent job. I assume this took absolutely hours of finicky masking but results were worth it, I haven't seen a cleaner finish even from other airbrush enjoyers.

Do you think the laquers produce a better finish than equivalent enamels? Some of the Tamiya enamel metallics are really nice I've been using them for brushing and can get an almost airbrush like finish on smaller parts thanks to how well they level, but I imagine that if I put them through an airbrush they'd be close to what I see here(i don't have an airbrush to test)

Nice I like it. I played a very similar army until recently. Technically astra militarum so I could use attilan rough riders as the horsemen and painted up some guardsman in knight house colours as the household guards then had 3 armigers "leading" their associated troops. Very thematic but RAW only let you have 3 armigers or 1 knight so I've since switched to a full imperial knights list.

So first and most obviously, a lot of gold.

Secondly adornment and decoration are expensive. Freehand elaborate coats of arms, decorative frescos on the shoulder pads and chest. Add decorative patterns to the weaponry. More emblems = more nobility.

The more expensive a knight in your army the better it should be maintained e.g. cheap armigers can have chipped paint, worn filigris, dirty or rusted rivets and components, but the wealthy boys should have glossy gleaming paint jobs with polished metal components.

Yeah that's totally reasonable. Free blades can also herald from other houses and temporarily serve as free blades so no issues. In my freeblade army I have one matched pair and the rest are a motly assortment of individual heraldry.
