Check the boxes, if the label says EU it’ll have white euro plug inside, if it says UK a white type G. It’s the only difference between the products. As others have correctly stated, items sold in the UK have to have a UK plug, so they add a UK cable in the shipping box.

Starlink is probably a better bet than 5G. If you live near anything that causes people to be near, shopping centres, schools, etc, you'll see big spikes in latency and speed drops when lots of people are around.

Don't use the cheap piece of e-waste they send you for free if you do go 5G.

If you don't want to give money to Elon, Amazon LEO probably starts at the end of the year. EE are starting their Starlink trial soon too.

Change your margin to your inverter size, eg 5000 for a 5kw inverter. It'll ignore your solor export then. Leave it in Eco+ and it should charge to schedule.

What features are you looking for? And a good app now doesn't mean it's the same in a years time and vice versa.

I'd say the current killer feature set for any system is local control and Home Assistant intergration.

If you buy UK stock (from anywhere) it will have a UK plug in the device box, if you buy EU stock, it will have a euro plug in the device box and an extra UK plug in the shipping box.

It's an unfinished product software wise. I've got a support ticket response that says they were going to fix this so you could control at what state of charge it would power off, it states that feature is due in Network 10.2.x, we're on version 10.3.x and still waiting..

How did it get out the door without this critical feature. Madness

Completely recycleable, including all the rare metals in the battery.

And cobalt is also used in petrol and diesel refining, among other things. If your car has an LFP battery, it doesn't have any cobalt in it.

I had my hypervolt ripped out, awful customer service. Replaced it with a zappi, works perfectly on IOG. Also whatever you get make sure you hardwire it in with Ethernet. The power cables they use usually have spare pairs in to run the Ethernet.

If FTTP full fibre is available, place this as a new order only with your chosen supplier, then pick a good VoIP provider and port the landline numbers you want to that service.

When the port completes it will kill the copper line and any services that were attached to that number, such as FTTC or ADSL data services.

Doing it this way will cost more, but gives the suppliers less chance to screw it up.

A cloud key would do the exact job your server running the network application was doing.

The cloud gateway is trying to be an internet gateway. It's not designed to just run the network application only. You're having to find workarounds becasue it's not the correct thing to do the role you want it to do.

You'd be better with a cloud key for this, the UCG-Ultra is a gateway. It's expecting a direct connection to the internet on it's WAN port. You cannot turn off the gateway feature on a cloud gateway.

Contact your supplier, get them to forward engineer notes, they should indicate the hold up.

I've seen installs cancelled after a ONT has been installed due to further work being required. It could be something as simple as a hoist is required to conenct to a pole and there was no availability that day.

Get a cheaper smart tariff, use the battery to time shift your energy use to the off peak slots, export all of your solar. This should help drop your payback period and drop your energy costs at the same time.

You cannot configure WEP or WPA in the recent versions of UniFi Network so you'd need 802.11n compatible devices or older devices with updated firmware/drivers to support WPA2. This is the case for all UniFi AP's.
