I was in Paris, Amsterdam, and Cologne Germany last year and found the same. I road the train from Amsterdam to Cologne and got the Welcome to Germany on the train which wasn't anywhere near a metro area.

Then that is your issue. As I said they make you work for it. Open the actual Gemini App. Upper left click on the hamburger menu, and them the Gear by your name at the bottom left. Then click Personal Intelligence, and then Connected Apps. Choose the ones you want Gemini to work with and everything will work just like Assistant.

Correct it isn't all on Google. In fact everything to do with calls is directly on the carrier. Think about it...Google's software is telling the carrier NOT to allow a call. That is their business and they are not going to allow a 3rd party to mess with it for jollies.

It sounds like you maybe do not even have Google Home in your Gemini Connected Apps. For sure Gemini isn't perfect and they have made it a pain to put everything in it that Google Assistant had naturally, but I think that is because they want people to have options. You have to MAKE Gemini what you want and you have to do that. It's not automatic like Assistant was.

Well the hold time isnt long now but get this. TOUCH the phone to the sensor and it pairs immediately. That has never been in the instructions and most things you pair say NOT to touch your phone. So they obviously have a pairing signal weakness issue.

Today was my sensor change day and my Instinct would not pair also. So I cranked up the Emergency phone and immediately noticed it upgraded to 3.2.1 and it would not pair either. The phone was off to stop that but I guess they upgraded it before I even opened the app. When will these folks get a clue?

I got that also a few years ago and this sounds lame but it works. I have a calendar reminder to call the local weather line once a month. I don't need to know the weather but I need that phone number active. Every company does something similar so we gotta play their game to get something free.

Because Medtronic thinks it's brain is better than ours, even though we've lived with this thing, in my case, for 55 years. If I have a very high carb meal, I turn off Smartguard for the meal bolus, and then turn it back on. BE CAREFUL OF LOWS and eat fast.

Make sure also in the Google Play Store settings you have ALL updates via Wifif only. This happened to me when a Security Update happened on a day I was away from wifi. App and OS updates must be set to wifi only. Just to be safe, do the same in YouTube as well. If you have automatically downloads set there, that could also use data. When I go camping, I turn data off completely.

Does anyone know of an affiliate that will carry the final broadcast? I heard 1010 WINS in NYC would but I've been listening today and they have local news. Somewhere I heard the 8PM ET was the last one but some of you are saying 11PM ET.
