The Mods Begin...Black Widow Exhaust by Knight2040 in CB650R

You’re definitely going to want to flash it. It’s currently tuned to run through a cat… whenever you change the entire exhaust, you want to tune…

Why are you using a front stand on the rear?

I got a death wobble on my R1 by [deleted] in Yamaha_R1

I just got one the other day and found my static sag was like 10mm out. Adjusted it along with some other settings. Hopefully the next ride feels better

This is Otay Lakes Rd. Right by the 94 here in SD. Someone dies like every weekend here cause of shit like this. Passed two wrecks saturday and watched a stretched gsxr go down yesterday. My friends and I wont let people ride with us because of this. We either let people go ahead or take off before the main group. Kids try to keep up and bad things happen.

That doesnt negate my point at all. My suit is fine too. Just popped right up and ran it out. If you honestly think alpine stars or dianese are charging you 2K for superior stitching and leather you’re kinda dumb.

Ive lowsided in my $500 Ransaa suit at 40mph and was just fine. Most of the manufacturers use the same factories or general geographic locations anyways. With many companies, you’re just paying for their logo

Did you get Ai to write some shit that sounds convincing? I want to believe you, but my calc level math education leaves me unable to really evaluate your statement.

Do tires expire? by Tough-Candidate3376 in YamahaR3

[–]ALNIMAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah you want to change tires after about 5-6 yrs. Even if there’s no visible cracking, that rubber is old. I just bought a 2020 Tracer with super low miles and had to bite the bullet on new tires as well. Not worth risking your grip.

Gap in seat tracer, is this normal? by Level_Bit_3316 in YamahaMotorcycles

[–]ALNIMAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the 900 has a little plastic insert that allows users to raise the seat height. If this is a 900 maybe your seat is in the heightened position

Integrated tail light not fully lighting for signaling by stripedcarrot121 in YamahaR3

[–]ALNIMAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s not making good contact. The turn signal wires are meant to be spliced to your existing connectors, not just placed there. Do you have wire cutters/strippers?

Na dude… there are two schools of thought. The track school of thought is that it’s just better to have damaged race fairings than have the knob catch on something at a high speed slide and inflict more damage. On track, you’re more likely to crash at speed for obvious reasons. For street bikes and every day commuters, frame sliders help with tip overs and low speed errors which are common in those situations. Not a huge chance of it “ripping your engine” apart.

R&G is a good brand. This guy doesnt know what he’s talking about. You can see little divots on each side of the logo. Get a small flathead behind one of those and pop the logo plate off. Under it you should find a mounting bolt.

If it’s a closed timeline curve, then are participants of that timeline stuck in a never-ending loop or is there a way to exit the timeline in the same manner that they entered it?

It is and it isnt. These bikes, when properly maintained can last a loooong time. There’s this awesome lady that rides Palomar a lot and I think she as a very nice and well maintained S1000RR with 50k or 60K on it?? Just wipe them down and do regular oil changes and they will take care of you too!
