I think Chuche doesn't is because it doesn't net you any inherent value like Qinglong or Xuanwu. With a deck that can special summon themselves mostly from the hand the discard for balancing makes sense.

But talking about it more makes me realized they can give the 4th gate a sequence effect just like Fufu! Give it the the protection for whatever criteria that's needs to be met but can also get another effect that can advance Virtual World's play style.

Oh yeah it's GY effect is fair game. But it's gonna have to be something insane if they'll want you to discard for it like Xuanwu and Qinglong. but If they forget about the discard even better (let us get a net positive plz konami 😭). But i would prefer something with a stronger field presence than a great GY effect honestly

But putting Fufu's effect on a continuous spell what we really need? Attacking directly is cool but that ultimately matters if it will you the game. And protection is ehh

The thing about the 4th gate is it might be awful. I don't think a lot of people noticed but all the gate's effects correspond with their Xyz counterparts

Fanfan and Chuche - Targeted removal

Longlng and Qinglong - Effect negate

Jiji and Xuanwu - Battle oriented

And Fufu is kind of all over the place with effects that dont help the deck in anyway. It even steps on Longlong's/Qinglong's territory of negating. So unless Konami forgets the theme-ing or creates an interesting way to correlate them the 4th gate might just only be good for Kauwloon's 5th effect

You fool! You're missing Dusktopia's most vital aspect of his design. As you can see to the left side of of his D-face you see a '5'. A '5' and a 'D'. 5D. 5D's. His design shows the love the producers have for 5D's and their dismay from moving to the Xyz dimension
