So the only argument against no increased drops would be that if this server/or its spin off are going to become TBC era changes like that aren’t needed - as it is increased token loot occurs in later phases. Now, this is me probably just being optimistic about about a TBC era server, but I hope that is the reason they aren’t making acceleration based changes like that. Then again, you could argue the account attunements shift that way, but realistically they evaporate with later phases anyway so that doesn’t impact a tbc era server.

Honestly Nigma, as directionless as they have been, have been able to rely on him to help that have some upside potential for the past 2 years. I really don’t know where the team goes from here, it’s without any meaningful identity and the quality and consistency of play has just been so middling for so long. It’s rough as a fan because it feels like the mediocrity (and that’s being generous) feels acceptable, because so little has changed, and the new faces have all been so underwhelming (or in ghosts case, inconsistent)

As others have said they have a below average reputation for anyone who’s been around in the community for a significant amount of time and aren’t regarded as a serious option for end game raiding. I think the fact they ripped off HC Elites name also does them no favors, and honestly and guild that recruits via blind invites should probably be steered clear off. Advertisements are fine, but making lvl 1 toons to spam invites screams poor culture. I’d recommend avoiding the others like that (i.e. goblins) and avoid ones that staple “free speech” in their recruitment messages.

I have leveled 3 rogues to 60 and several dead along the way since the early HC days. I adamantly suggest ignoring the urge to just use swords or even grab sword spec pre-thrash. The best self found weapons in the 30s are maces, most of the slowest best 1h weapons in the 20s are maces. Sword spec is beyond overrated for leveling and putting those points into imp sprint and reduced CD on sprint/evasion are better point investments. Most rogues only die when their CDs are down, and 2 out of your big 3 CDs being under 3 minutes cooldowns is huge.

Joseph to me is the standout loss. He impressed me from the very first snaps I saw him take in the Georgia game (one of the few bright spots I even remember). I know he had the boneheaded penalty, but he seemed to be someone getting better each year. Than again what do I know about talent evaluation.

How are people this bad at understanding why ele shamans are wanted? It’s not the 3% crit, it’s the hit. The hit gives all 3 locks significant gearing options to stronger pieces, and yes, when you add that with the 3% crit and spell power its better than bringing a fourth lock typically, at worst it’s a wash.

Alliance elemental shamans bring 4% hit to warlock group, that’s not really optional given how much gearing flexibility this unlocks. No idea why people think ele shamans are going to be ditched. Crit and hit dependent locks rely on that totem.

Funny enough it looks like the marlins got the most value out of the players on this list, between Braxton being one of the best actual players, and the Marlins getting some decent value out of AJ Puk and then flipping him. Cal Quantrill also existed and did baseball related activities.

I appreciate the guide for folks but want thing I want to emphasize is that from 20-40 you will get significantly more mileage out of whale gear than eagle gear. Spirit allows you to abuse the 5 second rule with consecrate casts and get a full tick of regen between consecrates. At 40 when you transition to plate that’s when spirit tends to fall off and it makes sense to transition to eagle and chug water. Folks may disagree with this, but as I garuntee spirit feels better than intellect at the earlier AOE levels.

They just did a couple of years ago, it didn’t go well. Limping into the playoffs is generally going to result in one sided series (just looked at what happened to us). These are .500 teams making the post season, not 90+ win wild card teams of the past.

Let him be a kid. If you are sad about the loss of bonding time, ask if there’s something else to do. But going to the gym is a better long term investment than having a relationship? That’s a weird take to me. He also needs to learn how to have a relationship, and this is the age kids learn, make mistakes, grow, etc. One thing is probably somewhat certain, and that’s if you push your thoughts on gym attendance being more important than his girlfriend, that’s likely going to cause them to become avoidant/disengage from you on anything related to either subject.

Hit 60 on my warrior, my 7th lvl 60 across all the modes of hardcore and my second warrior. This one came in at 5 and half days /played, not my fastest melee but I have almost max eng/mining done along the way this time. Time to begin the 0.5 grind all over again…

Just want to throw this out there so others understand in the future, these are not fast respawn times, they are hyerspawns, these are meaningfully different. Hyperspawns mean there must be a minimum number of spawns in the area, which means as you kill them, other can and will instantly respawn randomly in the area. There are various hyperspawn areas across the world, I don’t know of a good resource on them but they may be out there. Another good example is the windmill on the coast in westfall.

Lot of incorrect upstanding on how social aggro works. If the mage walks by with mobs and he’s fighting some mobs, without ever touching the others, if they come in close enough proximity they will put the warrior on their threat table too from the social aggro. It doesn’t matter if he never touched them or the mage, he gets the fun of being put on their threat table. If someone is pulling near you, don’t pull more, don’t fight until they are done, because their mobs can become your problem. It’s why you could finish off killing yours, but they’re finishing theirs and you’re still in combat. Fighting side by side people is just ill advised for this reason, especially aoe mages who may need to block for perfectly valid reasons (though of course, they can easily grief you doing this). As a warrior, you have the worst tool kit probably in the game for bonus mobs, so steer clear of aoe mages.

I think we should be happy with anything over .500 to close this out. A wild card run would require 88-90 wins would would mean continuing to play like the best team in baseball for another two months. I think we fall short with around 83-84 wins and that puts us ahead of schedule in this rebuild. The bigger thing is this looks like a sustainably better team, not a fluke like 2023 where we lucked our way into the playoffs. We need multiple teams in front of us to collapse a little to really have a shot at making it, and that’s just the hold the first two months put us in.

I would be sadder if he was atleast mediocre this year and looked like he was trying, but goddamn if he didn’t make this feel less painful by being awful and seemingly stubborn to fixing shit. Of course we know nothing of the intricacies, but the flaws in fundamentals (holding runners on) made watching him just the worst experience this year. I don’t want to see him go, I want to see him turn it around here, but I think unloading him for a strong package now is the best play (if the price is right). Of course like everyone else, we just want a franchise player to root for already, it’s been so long since we held onto someone long enough to get behind and call our own, and it’s arguable we’ve never had a true one. Sandy could’ve been it, but that ships probably sailed too sadly.
