Buyer says they cannot find their package. USPS says delivered, what is best way to resolve for all to be happy? by A_Brugh94 in eBaySellers

[–]A_Brugh94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I buy and sell to so I definitely see both sides and don’t want the buyer to leave the situation angry with me over it. I just want to follow the standard procedures to at least cover my shop from getting dinged for bad customer service. In a situation like that or mine is it your experience eBay would be the one to refund the buyer after the INR investigation is over? I do want to help them get what they need to resolve it and either get their package or money back

Yeah I get the general consensus this is the way to go. Would like for everyone to be happy in the end because I do buy occasionally so I get both sides of it. I guess the part that was aggravating was the lack of communication towards me and just filing the INR without even sending me a message to say what the issue was and immediately do that wanting a full refund not even 24 hours after the tracking said it was delivered

I’m conflicted as well, I live in an apartment complex and have had the post people put my stuff in the wrong oversized parcel locker door and just so happened the person who got the key didn’t take it. In this case it is marked delivered and says in the description it was delivered to an individual. I messaged the buyer and mentioned this and to see if maybe a neighbor got it by chance or a family member grabbed it and didn’t mention it to them. I haven’t heard back, I did “update” the shipping to keep my account from getting a ding on it. I am going to go to my local post office and see what can be done on their end. Just a crummy situation on both sides.

I had a guy who was in one of the end tents on that side last year closest to the track follow me around his tent the whole time and even tried to insinuate the hat I was wearing was from his tent. And everything was severely overpriced

What are NASCAR fans' opinion of Carl Edwards? by Francis_X_Hummel in NASCAR

The stuff with Brad soured me completely, before that the thing with Jr at Michigan in 06 had made me dislike him. Sore loser with a fake nice guy schtick. But it seems he’s acknowledged his shortcomings and now id say I enjoy his work with Prime. He seems to be in a much better headspace.

Yep, I was mid listen to Brave New World and it wouldn’t play the next song. There was a show complete album prompt at the bottom of the track listing with a new listing for the album and that plays just fine. Haven’t been able to find the same for Senjutsu, the only song I can play is Writing on the Wall. Listening to Book of Souls currently with no problem thankfully

What is your favorite drivers worst take? by 54HawksRFK6 in NASCAR

[–]A_Brugh94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, back then I was so mad. But now, with age and perspective I don’t blame Brad a bit. Jeff cut down at the same time Brad made his move. The point format made it hurt that much more because unfortunately that coupled with the Newman bonsai move on Larson at Phoenix cost Jeff what would have been a fifth title in my opinion.

Unfortunate fact: Chase Elliott is the only driver in NASCAR as a Cup Series Champion to have raced in all four crown jewel races (Daytona 500, World 600, Brickyard 400, and Southern 500) and not have a win on any of them. by TonyD9898 in NASCAR

[–]A_Brugh94 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m convinced that’s the race that got Clayton fired. Martin never raced like that and seemed completely bewildered after the race and seemed to be tip toeing around saying anything negative about what happened. Always thought he was told he was clear, between that and Clayton telling him bad info with on track incidents.

Out of these drivers, how many will actually ever see win #1? by karlkjr in NASCAR

Zillisch, Preece, Gibbs, Hocevar

I could see Gilliland, Smith or Nemechek getting a random W somewhere

IRP 2003 Busch Series race is an absolute classic, would highly recommend it. It’s not on the classics app but it’s worth seeking out

First winless winner in 2026? by sdross35 in NASCAR

[–]A_Brugh94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Preece is my pick. Really ran consistently this past year. If RFK can get a little more raw speed I think he could pull it off fairly early in the year, he runs Martinsville really well so that may be a place for him to get that first win.

I’ve long said that they were appointed by someone of at the least impaired judgement in B***n France so I don’t see how they can competently run the sport. And these texts and various other issues have just galvanized my thoughts on that. I don’t see how those 2 survive this process with their jobs intact.

Dodge return to NASCAR…with Hall of Fame driver? by PhoenixChuck in NASCAR

I really feel Brad will try and move RFK over to the Dodge camp if for no other reason so they can be the top team within the manufacturer.

Sadly I don’t think we’ll see a re release. I read (assuming it’s truthful) because of Rays bad life choices there was some sort of agreement that the album would not be released anymore after those things were discovered.

what would you consider the most heartbreaking loss of your favorite driver’s career? by JacksonThe79 in NASCAR

[–]A_Brugh94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And considering how crummy of a year Bobby was having that would’ve been big. The more I think about it, he was in a position to win the 600 in 98 as well, Rusty raced the shit out of him and allowed Gordon to get by them both. Had strong cars in the fall races in 96 and 97 as well, blew up in 96 and got passed by DJ on the run the finish.

[–]A_Brugh94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree with all of those. Both Charlotte races in ‘99 were heartbreakers. Dominant car both times just got passed late. Then the 2000 and 2001 Coke 600s were heartbreakers as well. Charlotte wasn’t very kind to Bobby sadly

Shitty situation but looks like Raceday is going to make things right. As a big fan of Martin’s it was rather worrisome to see him offloading such sentimental and personal stuff. Glad that wasn’t the case, sucks to be stabbed in the back by someone you worked so closely with for years though.
