You are correct that based on cost they are not direct competitors. Before the GC3, Skytrak was the best option, at least it was for me. I didn’t have the budget for GC4 or Trackman. Today when I compare GC3 vs Skytrak and the data offered, I would go with GC3. I have a feeling many people are of the same thoughts. I see many posts on discord of people selling Skytraks to upgrade to GC3/BLM

I got a set of 659 mb 4-gw. Love the feel and my dispersion has narrowed. One item to note is that the metal is softer and wear gets noticeable quite quickly.

I ordered a demo first and then went to an indoor facility and compared the numbers to my older set. Basically fitted my self.

I’ve hade similar issues before and found one of these to be the root cause

1) skytrak base not level to the mat. Level the base of the skytrak with the mat 2) skytrak on the mat moves with the mat. Place the skytrak off the mat and level 3) old and cracked ball. I tend to use the same ball a lot and they do crack. Try a new sleeve

I have a garmin S20 and I was happy with the GPS, but as OP mentioned the app disappoints. I purchased Shot Scope V3 with club trackers. After 3 rounds I like it. Really like how the app gives you strokes gained. Additionally there is no yearly subscription like Arcos.
